Pronalazak spada u oblast okova za nameštaj a odnosi se na šarku za širokougaono otvaranje krila vrata (9) nameštaja. Šarka obuhvata ručicu (1) podesivo pričvršćenu na osnovnoj ploči (7) zglobno povezanu sa udubljenim delom (2) šarke. Ova zglobna veza obuhvata zglobne poluge (3, 4, 5 i 10) od kojih su zglobna poluga (4) i zglobna poluga (5) povezane u krstastu polugu (6). Pri ovome je spoljna zglobna poluga (5) izvedena sa grebenom (11) na svom kraju dok je njen vezni zid (5') na oba kraja završen zakrivljenim jezičcima (12, 13). Isto tako je vezni zid (4') unutrašnje zglobne poluge (4) na delu iznad zajedničkog mesta obrtanja (16) završen sa na dole okrenutim jezičkom (14) čime je dobijena potpuno zatvorena gornja površina šarke oblika zatvorenog pravouglog paralelopipeda (23).

    Abstract: A toggle-type hinge assembly comprises an arm assembly 11 and cup flange 13 and includes a linear damping device 15. A movement converting mechanism is used for converting pivotal movement of the hinge into actuation of the damping device. The mechanism is arranged to produce actuation of the damping device through rotational movement about its linear axis via transmission of two equal and opposite forces acting symmetrically about said axis. The mechanism may comprise a pair of camming surfaces extending helically with respect to the linear axis. The actuator may be mounted via bearing surfaces on the cup flange and may be engaged by the arm assembly. The hinge may include a second mechanism for converting pivotal movement of the hinge into actuation of the damping device. The second mechanism may operate at a different stage to the first mechanism during movement of the hinge.

    Abstract: A damper assembly for a toggle-type hinge, comprising a holder 23 receiving linear damping device 17 and to be mounted in use onto the cup flange of the hinge with the axis of the damping device parallel to the rotational axis of the hinge movement, and an actuator 24 to convert rotational movement of the hinge into linear movement of the damping device over at least part of hinge travel. In one aspect the actuator is rotatably mounted in the holder in line with the axis of the damping device, in a further aspect the actuator includes an engagement means to one side of the hinge arm. The holder or actuator may include a helical cam groove 29 and the other of the holder or actuator may include a helical cam follower rib (30, fig.4), the cam follower may comprise pin and the cam groove may have a variable pitch. The actuator preferably has protruding member 28 for engagement with a striking plate (32, fig.1) of the hinge arm. The damper assembly may include two dampers coaxially aligned, one to each side of the hinge arias with separate actuators; the second damper may have different damping characteristics to the first damping device and may come into action at a different stage during closing of the hinge.

    Abstract: A hinge assembly comprising a toggle type hinge 10 and a damper assembly 14 comprising a linear damping device arranged with its axis parallel to the rotational axis of the hinge and mounted between the cup flange 12 of the hinge and a holder 15; a means for converting rotational movement of the hinge into linear movement of the damping device is provided which comprises a camming surface and a cam follower 23, 24, one of which is provided on the damper assembly and the other of which is provided on the holder and/or the hinge cup flange. The camming surface may be a helical track and the follower may be a pin guided in the cam track; the camming surface may have a variable pitch. The hinge flange may include a radiused groove 26 for locating and guiding axial movement of the damping device which may be a piston and cylinder type damper. The rotational to linear converting means may include a protruding member 22 for engaging the arm of the hinge; the actuating means 22 may be integral with a sleeve of the piston cylinder damping device.
