    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the fitting of a drive train in a vehicle by providing a pivot support at one end section of a punched main body, and providing a bolt fastening nut at the other end section to form an adapter plate used for supporting the drive train on a vehicle frame via a mount. SOLUTION: A hydraulic separation mount 14 arranged between a drive train, i.e., a transmission housing 12, and a vehicle frame 16 is fitted to the transmission housing 12 via an adapter plate 10. The adapter plate 10 includes a main body 18 having a central offset section 20 reinforced by a pair of blanked gussets 22, and a nut 25 is welded at a proper position of the main body 18 to accept a fixing bolt 23. A pivot support 26 is formed with a pair of pivot flanges 28 at the end section on the opposite side to the nut 25, and one end of the mount 14 is pivotally fitted to the pivot support 26.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an article or part of a desired color having the appearance of coating material texture by coloring an elastomer denatured polyolefin material having a specified clouding level with a pigment having a specific effect. SOLUTION: At least one pigment having a specific effect is uniformly dispersed to a thermoplastic elastomer denatured polyolefin resin having low clouding degree, and thermally molded into a base material. The 'clouding degree' referred therein means the clouding degree of at least 50% or less for 60 mill black in measurement by ASTM D1003. The clouding degree is preferably 30% or less. As the pigment, an inorganic pigment or an organic pigment can be used. A specific pigment containing a flake pigment is used alone or in combination with a colored pigment in order to provide a specific effect as metallic appearance. This material can be molded into an automobile body member as a coating material or molding of body side surface or a bumper plate.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a windowpane glass run traverse the curved part of a window opening part and to impart such reformed bending flexibility as capable of imparting a desired appearance to an interval between the runway and a car surface surrounding the window opening part. SOLUTION: A glass pane runway for a translationally shiftable car window is provided. This glass pane runway is equipped with an elastomer extrusion with a U-shaped cross section part partitioned off by two leg parts 48 and 50 connected by a base bottom web 56. A compound reinforcement 40 comprises the leg part 48 on one side out of both these leg parts 48 and 50 and a metallic core 26 in a base 52, and a thermoplastic polimer structural member 42 structurally supporting the leg part 50 on the other. In a desirable paractical instance, an additional structural supporting member for the leg part 50 on the other is provided by the web 56 and a thermoplastic polymer chevroned bracket 60 connected to the leg part on the other.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an assemblage by attaching a glass run channel on a rotary frame molding and fixing the rotary frame molding on a flange of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A molding module 20 comprises a rotary frame molding 24, a glass run channel 26, a belt line external seal 28, and a plurality of grips 30. Then, on the rotary frame molding 24, an inward attachment flange 38 which runs along a vertical front fringe 34, a rear fringe 36 and a curved upper fringe 38 is provided. Furthermore, a downward flange 42 is provided along a belt line 40, and is set in parallel to the external surface 44 of the molding 24. The molding 24 is provided with two lining tabs 48 and 50 which extends in a downward direction of the belt line 40. Out of them, the first tab 48 is an extension part of the attachment flange 32 which runs along the front fringe 34, and the second tab 50 is an extension part of an attachment flange 32 which runs along the rear fringe 36.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the appearance and cost performance of a molding for a vehicle by a method wherein a core material is removed from a portion of the molding, the molding is loaded into a cavity and new core material is injection molded into the portion while reshaping the molding to a desired shape. CONSTITUTION: Core material is removed from a portion of an extruded elongated molding for forming a recess while an outer skin 216 is left. The portion with the recess is loaded into a mold cavity and new core material 220 is injection molded into the recess while forming the portion of the molding into a desired shape. Thus, a molding on which an extruded outer skin is left over the whole length without discontinuous parts and which is reshaped into a desired shape can be manufactured.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a gasket device which allows the outer shell and liner section of a cabinet of a refrigerator, etc., to be assembled without using any fixture. CONSTITUTION: A gasket device 10 comprises a retainer 12 fixed to a cabinet 16 and a gasket 14 which is engaged with and supported by the retainer 12 and magnetically seals the door 24 of the cabinet 16 when the door 24 is closed. The retainer 12 is fixed to the cabinet 16 in such a way that the end sections of the outer shell 18 and liner 20 of the cabinet 16 are respectively inserted between the one side wall 34 and tongue piece 38 and the other side wall 36 and tongue piece 40 of the cabinet 16. The gasket 14 is restrained on the retainer 12 in such a way that the arrow section 52 of the gasket 14 is inserted into and engaged with the chamber 50 of the retainer 12. The gasket 14 is provided with a sleeve 58 which embraces a magnet 30 and a bumper 62 for door.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a single retainer which eliminates the need for separate mechanical fasteners to fix and assemble elements of a door of a refrigerator or the like. CONSTITUTION: This retainer 22 comprises an extruded base part 44, a first leg part 46 which clips onto one side end of the base part 44 to form a groove 50 supporting an end rim of an outer shell of a door 10 together with the base part 44, and a second leg part 56 which clips onto the other side end of the base part 44 to form a groove 60 supporting an end rim of a flexible plate 14 of the door 10 together with the base plate 44. The second leg part 56 which is rotatable about a thin hinge part 58 can be chainlocked in place on the base part 44 with chainlock parts 62 and 64. The second leg part 56 is provided with a chamber 36 which accepts an arrow part 34 on a gasket of the door 10 to secure the gasket 20.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a molding to stably hold the end edge of a window plate for the windshield for automobile while uniformly applying clamping force to both surfaces of the window plate. CONSTITUTION: This molding is related to a molding 10 provided with a generally J-shaped clamping and holding member 18 forming a groove hole 32 for pivotally supporting a window plate by means of its leg section 22, body section 24 and the front half section 28 of a head section, and a top section 20, which is connected to the head section 26 of the clamping and holding member 18 integrally and protruded from the head section 26 in both direction. The clamping and holding member 18 and the top section 20 are formed with hard elastomer material and soft elastomer material respectively.
