Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for detecting marine organisms using an optical sensor is provided to reduce volume and load and to classify the species of the marine organisms. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor for detecting marine organisms comprises: a chamber(10) containing seawater with marine organisms; a light source(20) placed at the upper portion of the chamber; a band-pass filter part which receives light emitted by response from the marine organisms contained in the seawater and filters the band of the light; a photodetector(70) which receives filtered light and outputs electric signal corresponding to the filtered light; and analysis unit(80) which analyzes the electric signal and detect the marine organisms. The light source is formed of light emitting diodes.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method of recognizing an RFID tag to prevent throughput inversion and an RFID reader performing the same are provided to prevent throughput loss due to a throughput inversion phenomenon, thereby quickly recognizing a tag. CONSTITUTION: A prediction frame size when throughput has the maximum value is obtained within a frame which currently recognizes a tag(1001~1011). The throughput is obtained by reflecting slot length. If a current frame size is different from the prediction frame size, the frame which currently recognizes a tag stops recognizing(1015). The current frame size is changed to the prediction frame size(1017).
Abstract:
A security system and a method for detecting an intruder using a laser distance measuring device are provided to accurately grasp a position of an invader by installing a reflection member in consideration of an error distance of a laser distance measuring device. A laser distance measuring device(110) emits a laser light, receives a reflected laser light, measures a distance of a target object, and detects a position of an intruder. A reflection member(120) reflects an emitted laser light to the laser distance measuring device. The reflection member is separated as an error distance of the laser distance measuring device. A control part generates invasion information and a warning control signal if an intruder exists.

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave absorber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form high absorption by absorbing broadband terahertz waves in a terahertz domain. CONSTITUTION: A substrate has a predetermined refractive index for electromagnetic waves. A glass sphere body (14) is arranged on the upper side of the substrate with one or more layers. The substrate is formed on a glass substrate (12). The electromagnetic waves have terahertz waves. The glass sphere body is fixed on the upper side of the glass substrate.
