An antenna mode steering (AMS) method for a signal receiving apparatus according to the present invention comprises a process of selecting an antenna mode by using at least one antenna mode selection parameter, and at least one of a first AMS scheme, a second AMS scheme, and a third AMS scheme. The first AMS scheme refers to a scheme of adaptively switching the antenna mode according to a received signal quality. The second AMS scheme refers to a scheme of maintaining a relevant antenna mode during a first period of time sequentially from a specific antenna mode among available antenna modes of the signal receiving apparatus. The third AMS scheme refers to a scheme of measuring the received signal quality during a second time with respect to all of the antenna modes and selecting and maintaining an optimal antenna mode.

The present invention relates to a method and a system for managing sensor information of a mobile terminal which can continuously collect sensor information through a sensor unit controlled by a low power processor and provide an alarm about circumstances by analyzing the collected sensor information. The method for managing sensor information of a mobile terminal which includes a sub control unit operating at lower power, a sensor unit controlled by the sub control unit, and a main control unit operating at high power according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: collecting, by the sub control unit, sensor information through the sensor unit; identifying whether the main control unit is in a sleep mode; checking whether the collected sensor information can be stored in a sub storage unit included in the sub control unit when the main control unit is in a sleep mode; storing the collected sensor information in the sub storage unit when the sub storage unit can store the collected sensor information; and storing the collected sensor information by waking up the main control unit and moving the collected sensor information and sensor information previously stored in the sub storage unit to a main storage unit connected to the main control unit when the sub storage unit cannot store the collected sensor information.

The present invention relates to a device and a method for controlling operation in a terminal and, more specifically, to device and a method for controlling operation in a terminal, which are capable of controlling a touch operation generated when a user holds the terminal. To achieve the above purpose, the device for controlling operation in a terminal includes: a holding sensor unit which outputs a holding detection signal when a user holds a terminal; a touchscreen unit which includes a touch-inactive area for recognizing a touch signal as a holding action, when the touch signal is detected while detecting the holding detection signal; and a control unit which sets the touch-inactive area to the touchscreen unit and recognizes the touch signal generated in the touch-inactive area as a holding action, when the touch signal is detected while detecting the holding detection signal.

CONSTITUTION: A control bracket(40) guides a stable tilt operation of a tilt rotating unit(38). A spring ball(70) performs a stop operation by a stage and keeps a stable tilting state during the rotating operation of the tilt rotating unit. A stopper shaft(60) restricts the maximum tilt rotating angle of the tilt rotating unit. A stopper shaft control hole(32) penetrates the tilt rotating unit. The stopper shaft control hole generates upper and lower side hanging operations by the stopper shaft.

A packet generator(1022) applies the network coding technique to source and purpose packet and generates the relay packet. An apparatus and a method for providing a sound effect according to contents genres in a DMB system are provided to employ a sound effect for each received broadcasting by using DMB channel information or select a user through a user interface(UI). A channel information analyzer(130) extracts the information of a content genre from a channel information field of received broadcasting data. A sound effect processor(170) processes at least one sound effect selected based on the information of the content genre. A controller(150) controls the sound effect processor(170) such that at least one sound effect is selected and processed based on the extracted information of the content genre. A content reproducer(190) mixes audio signals, which have been subject to a sound effect in the sound effect processor, with each other to reproduce the contents.
