Abstract: ECC 메모리 모듈이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 ECC 메모리 모듈은 ECC 메모리 모듈을 구성하는 메모리 소자 중 일부와 패리티 비트를 저장하기 위한 소자들을 2배의 덴시티와 2배의 비트 구성을 가지는 메모리 소자를 이용하여 통합 구성하여 실장한다. 본 발명에 다른 ECC 메모리 모듈은 ECC 기능 구현을 위해 추가되는 메모리 소자로 인한 실장 면적 증가, 신호선 로딩 증가, 비대칭 신호선 토폴로지로 인해 발생하는 신호 충실도 감소 등을 해결할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A module interface board is provided to test a mounting of a custom specific memory module, which is different from a standard memory module at various conditions, in a general computer system. CONSTITUTION: In a module interface board(100) for testing a mounting of a custom specific memory module in a general computer system which uses a standard memory module, at least one socket(101) is provided for mounting the custom specific memory module. At least one conversion unit(103) performs a mapping of input/output terminals of the custom specific memory module and input/output terminals of the standard memory module. A tap(107) for a standard memory module is provided. The conversion unit(103) is at least one serial presence detect EPROM which is programmed for recognizing the custom specific memory module as a standard memory module. The conversion unit(103) includes an option circuit for selecting a custom specific memory module.
