    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hybrid achromatic optical lens and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to eliminate chromatic aberration by forming a refractive surface and a diffraction surface on a lens. CONSTITUTION: An optical lens(30) is comprised of a first optical member(31) and a second optical member(33) which is buried in the first optical member(31). The first optical member(31) is a flat type and has a low refractive index less than 1.5. The second optical member(33) has a high refractive index greater than 2.0. A surface where the first and second optical members(31,33) contact to each other is a diffraction surface(34). The diffraction surface(34) is formed such that a plurality of pitches are formed on a refractive surface(32).

    Abstract: An ultraviolet nano-imprint lithography process and an ultraviolet nano-imprint lithography apparatus are provided to prevent the generation of a non-uniform pattern due to an air trap by performing a pressing process between a sample and a mold. A resin(3) is coated on a metal base(2) by using a spin coating method. A mold(4) is mounted on the upper surface of the resin. A PDMS(Poly-Di-Methyl Siloxane) pad(5) is mounted on the upper surface of the mold in order to apply uniform pressure. The pressure is applied to the PDMS pad by using a quartz shaft. The UV light is applied through the quartz shaft at the state the pressure is applied to the PDMS pad. The mold is separated from the resin hardened by the UV hardening reaction. A polymer residual layer between the patterns is removed by O2 plasma ashing.

    Abstract: A mold for nano-imprinting and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent breakage or pollution of the mold and obtain uniform pattern onto a substrate with unevenness by forming a hard layer on a surface of a corrugated pattern part.
