Abstract:
PURPOSE: A VOD(Video On Demand) batching method combining static multi-casting and dynamic multi-casting is provided to combine the static multi-casting and the dynamic multi-casting by using interval time at transmission time, thereby effectively reducing the amount of use of channels. CONSTITUTION: When a segment number, which is requested in a dynamic broadcast group, is lesser than a next segment number which is transmitted to a static broadcast group, a system confirms continuous reproduction. When the segment number is greater than or equal to the next segment number, the system transmits the segment number to the dynamic broadcast group. When the continuous reproduction is possible, the system transmits the same segment to the dynamic broadcast group and the static broadcast group. When the continuous reproduction is impossible, the system transmits the segment number to the dynamic broadcast group. PURPOSE: A balanced chain topology generation method in a wireless sensor network is provided to reduce the weighting of a network by constructing a chain based on a minimum spanning tree algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A wireless sensor network is set as a square based on a base station(S1). The square network is divided into the sub-areas of a square type including the same size according to the number of nodes. A bridge node is selected for the connection of the sub area in order to form a network chain in the divided sub-area(S2). A node connection chain is configured in each sub area to connect the bridge node(S3). PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for minimizing a session establishment delay time in a network are provided to consider a frame error rate in a wireless channel environment, thereby determining each session establishment delay time. CONSTITUTION: A user agent client(UAC) requests a mobile Internet protocol television(IPTV) service to a user agent server(UAS)(400). The UAC transmits an invite message to the UAS(402). The UAS determines a packet loss for session establishment(404). An adaptive retransmitting timer is operated(406). A session establishment packet is retransmitted(410). The session establishment is completed(412). A session connection process is performed between the UAS and UAC. The mobile IPTV service is provided to the UAC through a connected session(414).
Abstract:
A clustering system where proxy is possible in a wireless sensor network, a method thereof, and a recording medium thereof are provided to equally consume energy without CH having low energy by using a proxy node, improve the overall performance of a sensor network system, and increase the lifetime of each sensor, thereby improving overall reliability of the sensor network system. In a clustering method where proxy is possible in a wireless sensor network, configuration of a round for transmitting data, collected in a sensor node, to a BS(Base Station) comprises the following steps. In a setting step, the sensor nodes are organized in a cluster type(ST2010,ST2020,ST2030,ST2040). In a maintenance step, data collected by each sensor node is transmitted to the BS(ST2050). A node having the shortest transmission distance and the most redundant energy among member nodes of the cluster is selected as a proxy node and has authority of CH(Cluster Head) to fairly disperse energy consumption of the sensor nodes.
