Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided is a monodispersed polymer having a full-IPN structure, which has an easily controllable particle size, excellent uniformity of particle size, heat resistance and mechanical properties suitable to be used as a spacer for a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: The monodispersed polymer microparticles having a full-IPN structure is prepared by the method comprising the steps of: dissolving a long-chain crosslinking agent, a monomer, an oil soluble initiator and a stabilizer in an alcohol, carrying out a dispersion polymerization, and repeatedly washing and drying by centrifugal separation to obtain powdery crosslinked seed particles; redispersing the seed particles in water dissolved with 0.1-0.5% of an emulsifier by ultrasonic wave; emulsifying a secondary crosslinked monomer in which an oil soluble initiator is dissolved into water dissolved with 0.1-0.5% of an emulsifier by a mechanical agitator to introduce the secondary monomer into the seed dispersion and to swell them; and stabilizing the swelled polymer dispersion by using a dispersion stabilizer, and polymerizing, washing and drying the polymer dispersion.

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition using microparticle is provided, to lower the gloss with suppressing the deterioration of the mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 10-50 parts by weight of the graft copolymer resin prepared by copolymerizing 10-30 parts by weight of a cyano vinyl compound and 70-90 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound to 30-60 parts by weight of a rubbery polymer; 40-80 parts by weight of the copolymer consisting of 20-40 wt% of a cyano vinyl compound and 60-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound; and 1-50 parts by weight of a crosslinkable organic microparticle. Preferably the crosslinkable organic microparticle is prepared by dispersing a polymer organic dispersant aqueous solution and a solution containing a crosslinkable monomer, an initiator and a polymerizable monomer to a drop of 0.1-3.0 micrometers and polymerizing it at a temperature of 50-80 deg.C, and has a particle size of 1-20 micrometers.

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a monodisperse polymer particle having the full IPN structure and a monodisperse polymer particle prepared by the method are provided, wherein the polymer particle has excellent thermal stability, elasticity and mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dissolving a polydimethylsiloxane-based crosslinking agent represented by the formula 1 or 2(wherein R' is H or CH3; and n is an integer of 5-600), a radical polymerizable monomer, an initiator and a dispersion stabilizer in an alcohol to prepare a monodisperse crosslinking seed particle by dispersion polymerization at a temperature of 50-80 deg.C; re-dispersing the obtained crosslinking seed particle in an aqueous medium wherein an emulsifier is dissolved, and introducing a monomer where an initiator is dissolved into the solution to swelling it; and stabilizing the swollen polymer particle by using a dispersion stabilizer and polymerizing it.

본 발명은 열가소성 수지의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 내충격성 및 유동성을 그대로 유지하면서 광택도와 백색도가 우수한 열가소성 수지를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 발명은 1) 평균입도 0.25 - 0.32 마이크로, 겔함유량이 70 - 85중량%의 부타디엔 고무라텍스 중합체 30 - 65 중량부와, 2) 상기 공중합체에 2 단계 그라프트 중합을 행하는에 있어 스티렌 18.37 - 9.18중량부, 아크릴로니트릴 6.13 - 3.07 중량부의 단량체혼합물, 유화제, 분자량조절제, 텍스트로우스, 중합개시제 및 이온교환수 첨가후 승온하여 레독스계 산화환원 촉매인 황산제일철 및 피로인산나트륨을 각각 0.001 - 0.35 중량부를 첨가하여 1차 그라프트 시키는 1단계 반응과, 3) 상기 1차 그라프트 라텍스에 스티렌 34.12 - 17.06 중량부, 아크릴로니트릴 11.38 - 5.69 중량부의 단량체혼합물, 유화제, 분자량조절제 및 이온교환수를 프리에멀젼 상태로 만든후 1시간에서 4시간 걸쳐 연속 투입하는 2단계반응으로 구성되며, 4) 상기 2단계 반응에 있어서, 단량체의 연속투입시 나트륨포륨알데히드술폭실레이트, 에틸렌디아민트리아세트산, 황산제일철을 각각 0.0005 - 0.25 중량부를 첨가하는 하며, 5) 상기 2단계 반응에 있어서, 단량체의 연속 투입시 중합 개시제인 큐멘하이드록퍼옥사이드를 1시간에서 4시간 걸쳐 연속적으로 투입하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

본 발명의 아크릴계 마이크로 입자의 제조방법은 (1) 고분자 유기 분산제 및 수용성 과산화염을 혼합하여 완전히 용해시켜 수용액(I)을 제조하는 제1단계; (2) 가교성 단량체, 개시제, 및 중합성 아크릴계 단량체를 혼합한 용액(II)을 별도로 제조하는 제2단계; 및 (3) 상기로부터 제조된 용액 (I)과 (II)를 회분식 고속회전 고전단 분산기 등을 이용하여, 0.1-5.0 ㎛ 크기를 갖는 유적으로 분산시키고, 상기 분산된 현탁 혼합물을 50-80℃ 반응기에서 중합하여 마이크로 입자를 제조하는 제3단계로 이루어진다.

PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing acryl-based micro particles having a narrow particle size distribution of 1-45 micrometer by using a polymer organic dispersant and a water-soluble peroxide. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: preparing a water solution(I) by mixing and dissolving 0.2-5.0pts.wt. of the polymer organic dispersant and 0.001-0.08pts.wt. of the water-soluble peroxide; preparing a solution(II) by mixing 0.01-10.0pts.wt. of a crosslinkable monomer, 0.05-5.0pts.wt. of an initiator, and 100pts.wt. of a polymerizable acryl-based monomer; dispersing the solution(I) and the solution(II) to be oil drops having a size of 0.1-5.0 micrometer by using a high shear distributor and then polymerizing the dispersed emulsion mixture in a reactor of 50-80deg.C.

PURPOSE: Provided are a monodisperse particle of micron size which has high crosslinking density, and excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical property, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of adding a monomer, polyfunctional crosslinking monomer, fat-soluble initiator, continuous phase solvent having mixed composition, dispersion stabilizer, and auxiliary dispersion stabilizer to dispersion polymerize the materials at 50-90 deg.C for 5-50 hours, wherein the polyfunctional crosslinking monomer is charged in at least 10 wt% based on total weight of monomers, and the continuous phase solvent is a mixture of alcohol and ether alcohol, or a mixture of alcohol and benzene-based solvent.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An encapsulation method of inorganic particles with organic polymer material is provided, in which anionic emulsifier is used in case that the surface of inorganic particles are charged to positive, and vice versa. CONSTITUTION: The encapsulation method comprises: dissolving completely 0.05-5 wt.% of anionic emulsifier or 2-10 wt.% of cationic emulsifier into the water with controlled hydrogen concentration, keeping the concentration of the emulsifier under critical micelle concentration; absorbing the emulsifier on the surface of 50-1,000 wt.% of the inorganic particles in a reactor by stirring for 0.5-3 hours; and adding 100 wt.% of the vinyl monomers such as styrene or acrylate, raising the temperature up to 70°C and adding 0.3-1.5 wt.% of reaction initiator to emulsion polymerize for encapsulation and to obtain 95% of yield.
