본 발명은 데이터 교환 시스템 및 방법과 이를 위한 기록매체에 관한 것으로서, 과학 실험 시뮬레이션을 그리드 상에서 수행하여 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 지원하는 문제 해결 환경 시스템에서 생성한 데이터 및 메타데이터를 다른 분야의 사용자들과 공유하기 위한 데이터 그리드 상의 출판 시스템으로 전달하거나, 또는 기 출판된 데이터를 문제 해결 환경 시스템으로 전달하여 과학 실험 시뮬레이션의 재연, 지속 혹은 변형 실험 시뮬레이션을 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위해 역 전달한다. 본 발명은 그리드 상에서 시뮬레이션 작업의 출판 및 재실험에 대한 프로세스를 정의함으로써 응용 실험자간 시뮬레이션 데이터의 공유뿐만 아니라 데이터의 분석, 연결 실험 등 새로운 연구에 적용할 수 있다는 효과를 기대할 수 있다.
