CONSTITUTION: A friction material manufacturing processes is as follows. A premixing process is added to brake friction materials manufacturing process and makes a first mixture. And then raw materials are put to the main process. The silicon carbide(SiC) is used as abrasive. Lubricant is composed of lubricant A and lubricant B. The tin sulfide(SnS) is used as the lubricant A. The zinc sulfide(ZnS) is used as the lubricant B.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A disk brake for a vehicle is provided to improve the corrosion-resistance of a brake rotor by spreading an insoluble surfactant on the brake rotor. CONSTITUTION: A disk brake(100) for a vehicle comprises a brake rotor(10), a brake pad(1), a surfactant spraying unit(20) with low temperature. The brake rotor is rotated with a wheel(5). The brake pad is contact with the brake rotor. The surfactant spraying unit prevents the brake rotor from being corroded by spraying an insoluble surfactant on the surface of the brake pad with low temperature. The surfactant spraying unit has a compressor, a surfactant feeder, and a jet gas feeder.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A brake disc for a vehicle is provided to enable only a friction portion to be replaced without the total discardment of a used brake disc since the abrasion level of the brake disc is quantitively recognized. CONSTITUTION: A brake disc for a vehicle comprises a base portion(110), friction portions(120), and an abrasion display portion(130). The base portion comprises circular sides, which are rotated with a vehicle wheel. The friction portions are respectively connected to both sides of the base portion at a certain depth. The abrasion display portion is formed on the friction portion in the inner depth direction. The abrasion display portion has a different color or pattern to be distinguished from the friction portion with the naked eye. The abrasion display portion comprises 10-40 times as many carbon fibers as the friction portion, to be distinguished from the friction portion.

    Abstract: A method of processing a brake disk for vehicles is provided to rough plane friction surfaces of in and out boards of the brake disk with equal depth by first clamping a vent of the brake disk to rough plane the out board, and then clamping the processed hat of the brake disk to rough plane the in board. A method of process a brake disk for vehicles comprises the steps of: clamping a vent(11) of an unprocessed brake disk as a reference, and rough planning an upper part of friction surface of a disk out board(12) and an upper outer surface of a hat(14); and clamping a side surface of the processed hat and rough planning the upper friction surface of a disk in board(13) and upper inner surface and side surfaces of the hat. If the brake disk is made of a high carbon gray iron material having Brinell range between 180 to 210 HB and carbon content of 3.6 to 3.8% by weight, then the brake disk is rough planed by setting a carbide insert tip at 0.44 to 0.46mm/rev feed and rotating a main shaft at RPM between 795 to 805, and a ceramic insert tip is set 0.29 to 0.31mm/rev feed and rotating the main shaft at RPM between 395 to 405.
