Abstract: 본 발명은 자동차의 배기가스 정화용 CCC 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 기존과 동일한 구성의 CCC를 메인 컨버터로 하여, 촉매물질이 코팅된 다수개의 금속 와이어 망을 캔 내부에 장착하여 구성한 프리컨버터를 상기 메인 컨버터 전방에 추가로 설치함으로써, 상기 프리컨버터가 확산 저항의 최소화 및 빠른 촉매 활성화 온도 도달 특성에 따라 메인 컨버터 전방에서 배기가스의 온도를 급상승시켜, 냉시동시와 같은 조건에서 후방에 위치된 메인 컨버터의 빠른 촉매 활성화가 가능하게 하고, 결국 전체적인 정화성능이 향상되는 자동차의 배기가스 정화용 CCC 시스템에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A quick deterioration method using engine bench of a palladium based gasoline catalyst is provided to decrease the exhaust gas with the driving reduction to prevent the environmental pollution by promoting the palladium sintering and catalyst deterioration. CONSTITUTION: A gasoline engine includes an air fuel ratio sensor for detecting the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas, an electric control unit(ECU) for controlling the fuel amount supplied to the engine, and a secondary air injection nozzle for supplying a secondary air to an exhaust pipe according to the control of the ECU. With the control of the ECU, a large amount of fuel is injected at the high temperature region and injection amount of the secondary air is reduced to control the air fuel ratio being about 13:1. ZnDTP is further injected into the engine oil to increase the poisoning effects by P and Zn.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing high durable Pd-Rh three way catalyst for NOx reduction is provided to improve heat-resistance and purifying efficiency, compared with conventional Pd-Rh three way catalyst containing only bulk CeO2. In this method, (Ce-Zr)O2 is added to improve heat-resistance of three way catalyst, and PrO2 is added to improve purifying efficiency of nitrogen oxide. The catalyst is used as catalyst for purifying exhaust gas emitted from vehicle and chemical industry. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, the high durable Pd-Rh three way catalyst is made by the following steps: (i) supporting 100 parts by weight of Al2O3 with 1-5 parts by weight of palladium and 0.1-1 parts by weight of rhodium, followed by reduction; (ii) reacting the Pd-Rd supported alumina with 5-10 parts by weight of cerium oxide; 18-27 parts by weight of cerium-zirconium composite oxides; 3-10 parts by weight of praseodymium oxide; 5-6 parts by weight of barium oxide and 1-2 parts by weight of lanthanum oxide.
