    Abstract: A shock absorbing device for a hood hinge of a vehicle is provided to absorb shock energy generated when pedestrians collides with the hood hinge by securing a shock absorbing space by moving upward a hood. In a hood opening and closing device of a vehicle having a hood arm(11) of which a front end is fixed to a hood and a rear end is connected with a hood bracket(13) by a hinge pin(12) to open and shut the hood, a flange(14) is disposed at a lower part of the hood bracket. A rod(20) having a locking unit(22) at the lower end is fitted to the flange. A front end of the rod is inserted through a fixed bracket(30) fastened to a vehicle body. An elastic member(21) is compressively fitted to the rod formed between the fixed bracket and the flange. A locking device(40) for fixing the locking unit of the rod is installed on a bottom side of the fixed bracket. A front end of a movable bar(51) is connected to one side of the locking unit and the other end is coupled with an actuator(50). The actuator is coupled with a sensor(60) installed at a front bumper of the vehicle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Structure for installing a hood stay rod in a vehicle is provided to remove a fixing member assembling process by integrally forming the stay rod on a fender and to reduce a noise caused by movement of the fixing member. CONSTITUTION: A fender forms a side portion of a chassis by being mounted on an outer fender. An elastic unit(3a) is arranged on a fender apron(3) to fix a stay rod. The elastic unit is integrally installed on a side of the fender apron. In addition, the elastic unit has resilient force to receive the stay rod by being integrally formed with the side portion of the fender apron. The elastic unit forms a space receiving the stay rod by bending a middle portion through cutting the fender apron. Thereby, the stay rod is fixed without using an additional fixing member by bending the elastic unit to form the middle portion as a circular shape. Moreover, the elastic end is formed in advance to reduce assembling time. The structure for installing the hood stay rod in a vehicle removes the fixing member assembling process by integrally forming the stay rod with the fender.
