    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for separating an initial mixture (A) consisting of at least two components by means of extractive distillation using a selective solvent (s) in a separation column (TKW) provided with a separation baffle. Said invention is characterised in that the inventive method is carried out in the separation column (TKW) provided with the separation baffle (TW) which is disposed in the direction of the length of the column, extends to the top end thereof and divides the inside of the column into a first partial area (1), a second partial area (2) and a common lower area (3), the initial mixture (A) is introduced into said first partial area (1), a first head flow (B) is extracted therefrom, the second head flow (c) is extracted from the second partial area (2), said flows exhibiting the predefined characteristics, the selective solvent (S) is distributed in the top section of the first partial area (1) and/or in the top section of the second partial (2), and than the quantity of the selective solvent (S1) distributed in the first partial area (1) and the quantity of the selective solvent (S2) distributed in the second partial area (2) are controlled in such a way that said predefined characteristics for each head (B, C) flow are respected, respectively.

    Abstract: Sudstituted the abstract with a new abstract as follows: The invention relates to a continuous process for separation a mixture of hydrocarbons which has beenobtained by extractive distillation of C 4 fraction useing a selective solvent and the hydrocarbons from the fraction C 4 which are more readily soluble in the selective solvent than are the butanes and the butenes. The mixture is fed into a first distillation column in which it is separated into a steam which is taken off at the top and comprises 1,3-butadiene, propyne, possibly further low boilers and possibly water and a bottom stream comprising 1,3-butadiene, 1,2-butadiene, acetylenes and possibly further high boilers, with the proportion of 1,3-butadiene in the bottom stream from the distillatin column being regulated in such a way that it is at least sufficiently high to dilute the acetylenes to outside the range in which there is a risk of spontaneous decomposition. The stream taken off from the top of the first distillation column is fed to a second distillation column and is separated into a steam which is taken off at the top and comprises propyne, possibly further low boilers and possibly water and a bottom stream comprising pure 1,3-butadiene in the second distillation column.

La corriente superior (KI-I) de la primera columna de. destilacion (K 1) se alimenta a la segunda columna de destilacion (K II) y se separa en la segunda columna de destilacion (K II) en una corriente superior (K 11-K) que contiene propino, como una opcion otras sustancias de punto de ebullicion bajo, y como una opcion agua, y una corriente inferior (K II-S) que contiene 1,3-butadieno puro.
