Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the leakage resistance of a waist section and prevent a body fluid from being leaked via an absorber edge by providing an absorber between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-nonpermeable back sheet, and arranging an expanding elastic member constituting a waist gather in the width direction between a waist barrier sheet and the top sheet. CONSTITUTION:An absorber 3 is provided between a liquid-permeable top sheet 1 and a liquid-nonpermeable back sheet 2, waist flaps 7 with the preset width are formed on both end sections in the vertical direction, and waist barrier sheets 4 extended on the surface of the absorber 3 at the inside end are arranged between both sheets 1, 2 on the waist flaps 7. An expanding elastic member constituting a waist gather 5 extended in the width direction is arranged between the waist barrier sheet 4 and the top sheet 1, and the expanding elastic member is made of a thread-shaped elastic body, a film-shaped elastic body or polyurethane foam. The urine leakage from the end section of the absorber 3 is prevented, the front and rear waist flaps 7 are prevented from being turned over, no gap is generated at a waist section, thus preventing an underwear from being pinched to cause the urine leakage.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin composition which can retain good water- absorptive performances and is improved in gel strength upon swelling an long- term stability of swollen gel, by mixing a water-absorptive resin with a radical chain inhibitor and a metal chelating agent in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A water-absorptive resin composition is obtained by mixing a resin formed by crosslinking a water-absorptive resin, for example, polyactylate with N-N'-methylene-bisacrylamide with a radical chain inhibitor (A) such as a gallic ester or thiourea (preferably one having a solubility in water at 25 deg.C of 0.1g/100g or above) and a chelating agent (B) such as citric acid or 1,10-phenanthroline. It is preferable that the content of each of components A and B in the composition is 0.1-10wt.% based on the dry resin, and the total of components A and B is 10% or below. This composition can be desirably used as water-retaining agents for agriculture and horticulture, water cut-off agents for civil engineering and building, dehydrating agents, sanitary napkins, disposable diapers, etc.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve leak protection by fixing longitudinal both edge sections of an upper sheet, providing fixing sections at a middle section of the both fixing areas, and unfixing an edge section of the upper sheet. SOLUTION: A liquid permeable upper sheet 5 and a liquid permeable front surface sheet 1 are fixed at longitudinal both edge sections 8 of a diaper, and a middle section 7 between the edge sections 8 is also fixed. A longitudinal length of the fixing area of the edge section 8 is preferably less than about 0.45 of an entire length of the diaper. A position of the fixing area in the middle section 7 is preferably inside a position connecting side edge sections opposing to a longitudinal direction of the fixing area in the longitudinal edge section 8 of the diaper. The side edge sections of the upper sheets 1, 5 are not fixed. This constitution allows to increase the amount absorbed before leaking from the crotch and the back in a posture turning sideways and to improve leak protection.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a wet cleaning with a light force in a general home by forming a surface sheet from a fiber mixture containing pulp fiber and thermoplastic fiber. SOLUTION: A cleaning sheet l consists of a sheet of three-layer structure in which liquid permeable surface sheets are arranged on both sides of a liquid holding absorptive sheet 3 so as to nip it, and these sheets are integrated by an integrating means. The surface sheet 2 is formed of a fiber mixture containing pulp fibers and thermoplastic fibers to reduce the frictional resistance in cleaning. It also has a plurality of protruding parts 5 on the surface. In the fiber mixture, the content of the thermoplastic fibers is set to 40-95 wt.% to the whole surface sheet. The protruding parts 5 are the parts to make contact with a surface to be cleaned in cleaning, and the area of the protruding parts 5 is set to 60-99% to the whole area of the surface sheet 2. The absorptive sheet 3 is formed of a fiber mixture consisting of hydrophilic cellulose fibers and thermoplastic fibers, and the content of the thermoplastic fibers is set to 5-50 wt.% to the whole absorptive sheet.

SOLUTION: A cleaning cloth 1, which is to be installed to the head part of a cleaning tool having the head part on the top end part of a handle, is formed of a bag having a surface flap 11 partially or entirely on the outside of the peripheral part, and a reverse flap 12 is provided on a part of the inside of the peripheral part. The cleaning cloth 1 is formed by sticking two cleaning sheets S together, and a flap sheet F is arranged between them, and stuck together with the cleaning sheets S. A part of the flap sheet F is arranged on the outside of the sticking part 13 of the two cleaning sheets S to form the surface flap 11, and the other part of the flap sheet F is arranged on the inside of the sticking part 13 to form the reverse flap 12. Further, an opening part 1a is provided on the rear end part, and a bottomed bag having an insert space I capable of inserting the head part of the cleaning tool from the opening part 1a is formed.

SOLUTION: The cleaning tool 10 is provided with a cleaning part 11 and a bar-like handle 12 connected to the cleaning part 11 and the cleaning part is provided with sheet holding parts 14 for fitting and holding both side parts of this sheet. Then, mounting is performed by covering the lower surface of the cleaning part 11 and a surface sheet, a mounting sheet to be abutted on the cleaning part 11 and a liquid absorbent disposed between the surface sheet and the attaching sheet are provided. The holding force x(g) of the sheet holding parts 14 is defined as >=10g and the relation of the holding force (x) and the static friction coefficient y(tanθ) at the time of being mounted to the cleaning part 11 of the mounting sheet is expressed by an expression (1) (y>-0.0005x+0.5).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an absorptive body from deformation caused by movement of a wearer and absorption of discharged substance and to attempt to keep absorptive characteristics by fixing an upper sheet on a surface sheet at both end parts in the longer direction and to bring the central part of the upper sheet into contact with the surface sheet when a weight with a specified weight is placed on the central part of the upper sheet as it is. CONSTITUTION:A diaper 11 has a liq.-impermeable rear sheet 13, a liq.-permeable surface sheet 12, an absorptive body 14 and a liq.-permeable upper sheet 15 and the upper sheet 15 is fixed on a surface sheet 12 at both end parts 25 and 26 in the longer direction of the diaper 11 and the intermediate part thereof is not fixed and forms a free part 27. The length of the free part 27 is pref. made shorter than the distance between inside ends of fixing means 28 and 29 when the diaper 11 is flatly extended and the free part 27 is thus separated from the absorptive body 14. Furthermore, while it is kept under a natural condition and when a weight 30 of 40g is placed on the central part of the upper sheet 15, the part is brought into contact with the surface sheet 12. In addition, the position of the fixing means 28 and 29 are pref. in a range of about 10-50mm from the front and rear ends in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 11 and the width is pref. close to the front width of the upper sheet 15.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain excellence in the compactness preventing the leakage of urine by forming a flap valve, before it is folded back, in the respective thickness in both end parts in the lengthwise direction larger than the thickness in the central part in the lengthwise direction and specifying ratio of length in a width direction of the central part to length respectively in a width direction in the both end parts. CONSTITUTION:When a flap valve is laminated, a step difference is formed between a central part and an end part in the lengthwise direction, and by folding back both end parts so as to come into contact with each other, thickness in the central part in the lengthwise direction is increased. When assumed (b) for width of the central part and (a) for respective width in the both end parts, ratio b/a is necessary to be increased larger than 2. The ratio is preferably 3 to 10. Further an absorbing layer 2 is folded back in its both end parts of lengthwise direction partly adhesively adhering in two places in the vicinity of an intermediate part in the lengthwise direction of a surface sheet 1 in an upper surface of the absorbing layer, when a pocket structure is formed, thus formed absorbing layer 2 holds evacuated matter, and a function of promoting absorption from the surface sheet 1 can be increased.
