Abstract: A process variable transmitter (32) for measuring a pressure of a process fluid includes a sensor module (52) a pressure inlet formed in the sensor module an isolation diaphragm (90) positioned in the pressure inlet a pressure sensor (56) and an isolation tube (93 94) containing a fill fluid to convey a process fluid related pressure from the isolation diaphragm to the pressure sensor (56). A hydrogen getter (222) material is positioned in contact with the fill fluid between the isolation diaphragm (90) and the pressure sensor (56) to remove hydrogen from the fill fluid.

Abstract: A system (182) for identifying location of a plunger (110) that moves along a length of a well (100), includes an acoustic source (160, 170) carried in the well configured to transmit an acoustic signal when the plunger (110) reaches a sense location in the well (100). An acoustic receiver (184) is positioned at a top (116) of the well (100) and is configured to receive the acoustic signal. Processing circuitry processes the received acoustic signal and provides an output indicative of the plunger reaching the sense location.

Abstract: A process variable transmitter (36) for measuring a pressure of a process fluid includes a process coupling having a first port (90) configured to couple to a first process pressure and a second port (90) configured to couple to a second process pressure. A differential pressure sensor (56) is coupled to the first and second ports and provides an output related to a differential pressure between the first pressure and the second pressure. First and second pressure sensors (97, 98) couple to the respective first and second ports and provide outputs related to the first and second pressures. Transmitter circuitry (72) is configured to provide a transmitter output based upon the output from the differential pressure sensor and/or the first and/or second pressure sensors.

Abstract: A remote process seal system is provided. The seal system includes at least one remote process seal assembly coupled to a process pressure transmitter via a coupling filled with an incompressible fluid. The incompressible fluid is contacted by at least one getter to reduce instabilities caused by the release of hydrogen gas accumulating over time. In one aspect, a layer of getter material is deposited or placed within the pressure transducing portion of the remote process seal assembly.

Abstract: A process transmitter is configured to measure a process variable of an industrial process. A housing has a first cavity which houses first transmitter electronic circuitry and provides a barrier between the first transmitter electronic circuitry and second transmitter electronic circuitry. A non-physical electromagnetic link between the first transmitter electronic circuitry and the second transmitter electronic circuitry configured to carry data therebetween.

Abstract: A corrosion rate measurement system (130) includes a first membrane (160) of a first material configured to be exposed to a corrosive material and deflect in response to corrosion. A second membrane (162) is configured to be exposed to a corrosive material and deflect in response to corrosion. A pressure sensor (134) is operably coupled to at least one of the first and second membranes (160, 162) and configured to measure deflection of at least one of the first and second membranes (160, 162) as a function of a pressure and an amount of corrosion at least one of the first and second membranes (160, 162).
