Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photometric apparatus in which the position and the combination of light sending points and/or light receiving points operated simultaneously in the measurement of a plurality of parts on a specimen are changed without changing the connection of a light source of a wiring, of which measuring time is shortened and of which S/N ratio is enhanced. SOLUTION: In this photometric apparatus, a specimen 10 is irradiated with light, and light which is emitted to the outside after being transmitted through the specimen and/or after being reflected by the specimen is measured. The photometric apparatus is constituted in such a way that it is provided with a light sending and receiving part 11 which is provided with a plurality of light sending parts 12 used to shine the light at the specimen and which is provided with a plurality of light receiving parts 13 used to receive the emitted light and that it is provided with a computing and control part which controls the sending and receiving operation of the light with reference to the light sending and receiving parts 11. The computing and control part is provided with a plurality of control tables which decide the combination and the order of the light sending parts and/or the light receiving parts used to perform the sending and receiving operation of the light, and it controls the sending and receiving operation of the light according to the combination and the order of the light sending parts and/or the light receiving parts in the selected control tables.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a high-accuracy sectional image in real time by irradiating different places of a body to be inspected with light beams which differ in wavelength and detecting simultaneously respective light attenuation quantities by corresponding detectors. CONSTITUTION:The optical scanning device is equipped with a rotary drum 4 and a rotary driving means 4' and an optical scanning means 1 and plural photodetecting means 3 are arranged in the drum 4. The light beams (wavelengths lambda1 - lambda3) which differ in wavelength are made incident toward the center of rotation of the means 1 at the different angles of incidence. Here, when the drum 4 is rotated, the respective light beams scan on the body 2 to be inspected while maintaining angle differences, thereby measuring the body 2. After the scanning, the means 4 is rotated finely by the means 4' (nor mally at a 3 deg. angle of rotation) and similar scanning and measurement are performed. Thus, the scanning and rotation are repeated to complete all of the measurement when one rotation is made. In this case, an optical filter 5 provided on an optical path of measurement prevents the scattered light of a light beam with a different wavelength from entering the means 3. Consequent ly, the multi-wavelength measurement is performed at high speed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the S/N of data of a part where the absorption of light is large and to shorten a measurement time by slowing down the scanning of a light beam where the absorption of light by a sample is large and quickening the scanning where the absorption is small. CONSTITUTION:The light source of an optical scanning part 20 emits the light beam, which is projected on the sample through the mirror 4 of a scanner. Its transmitted light is detected through one channel of the photodetector of a photodetection part 30. A control part 40 slows down the scanning speed of the optical scanning part 20 when the intensity of the transmitted light beam detected by the photodetector is small, increases the scanning speed of the optical scanning part 20 when the intensity of the transmitted light beam detected by the photodetector is large. When controlling the scanning speed of the optical scanning part 20, the control part 40 stops the scanner of the optical scanning part 20 until the integral value of the transmitted light beam intensity at, for example, the photodetection part 30 reaches a comparison value Vr and then emits the light beam from the light source.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain high-SN-ratio data continuously even when the size of a sample is varied by directing one end of a light guide provided to a photodetection part to a light beam operating means and the other end to a detector, fitting this to a holder as a light guide cassette according to the size of the sample and enabling its replacement. CONSTITUTION:A scanner 2 is fitted to a gantry part and scans a light beam 3 at prescribed theta. Then the light guide cassette 10 is fitted and replaceable according to the size of the sample 6. A detector 11 is also fixed to the gantry part. The cassette 10 is set to such height that its photodetection end is close to the sample 6, and the curvature of the array of the photodetection end is set to a circumference centering on the scanner 2. Further, the other end of the cassette 10 faces the detector 11.
