    Abstract: PURPOSE:To constitute the liquid crystal projector which can display a satisfactory image, of a miniature device by a miniature optical system. CONSTITUTION:In the liquid crystal projector by which liquid crystal panel 29R, 29G and 29B are irradiated with an illuminating light, a transmission light by image displayed on the liquid crystal panel 29R, 29G and 29B is projected on a prescribed screen by a projection lens 33, and the image is displayed on the screen, the transmission light is reduced by a relay 30, formed as a reduced image on the surface of a field lens 32, and an image light of this reduced image is made incident on the projection lens 33, and also, the projection lens 33 is arranged so as to be movable in parallel to an optical axis, and moreover, so that an emitted light of the projection lens 33 can be curved by a mirror 34 in accordance with a position of the screen.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain personal stereoscopic videos which are free from chromatic aberrations and band-shaped fringes by a lenticular by placing two units of projectors near an observer's head and projecting the videos toward a beads screen. CONSTITUTION:The video projected from the miniature projector 2L is reflected by the beads screen 3 and returns to the projector in the form of a light beam having a width of a range 4L. The video projected from the miniature projector 2R returns in the form of the light beam having the width of a range 4R. As a result, the observer's left eye views the light of the range 4L and the right eye views the light of the range 4R and the observer is thus capable of viewing the stereoscopic images. The movement of the observer's head is thereby enabled. The spectacles-less comfortable stereoscopic projector which obviates the generation of the chromatic aberrations and band-shaped fringes is thus obtd.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To cause a numerous people to simultaneouly listen to desired sound in a limited space such as a same room, an office and to view a related video by providing a sound originator which has a first and a second light-receiving parts and which supplies a sound signal obtained by demodulating an output signal from the second light-receiving part to an electric acoustic converter. CONSTITUTION:If a signal from a sound signal source and a video signal source are supplied to a transmitter 7, it PCM-modulates and time divisionly multiplex the audio signals of plural channels, and generates laser beams modulated by the multiplexed signals from a light-emitting part 8. A video projector as a display device and a headphone device as the sound originator are provided in the same room as a stereo reproducing device and a television receiver 6. The light-receiving part 13 which receives light beams from the light-emitting part 8 in the transmitter 7 is provided on the top part of a fitting band 12 in the headphone device 11, and a circuit device 14 such as decoder circuit and an amplifier is provided along the rear surface of the fitting band 12.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a small-sized, diverse liquid crystal device by installing a photodetecting element between transparent bases, driving a liquid crystal device, and putting the liquid crystal device in operation as a printer and further an image scanner in addition to a liquid crystal shutter. CONSTITUTION:The device 1 receives original reflected light passed through a convergent rod array lens 13 by the photodetecting element 7 of the device 1 and operates liquid crystal 6 as a liquid crystal shutter between the transparent electrodes 4 and 5 to obtain a desired copy image by the electrophotographic means composed of a photosensitive drum 21 arranged under the device 1. Then, image signals are converted into electric signals simultaneously or individually because of characteristics of liquid crystal and outputted to a memory device through a CPU to make the device function as the image scanner. Further, the device 1 is driven as the liquid crystal shutter which operates on the basis of external or internal image signals to obtain the functions of the printer based upon the electric signals.

    CONSTITUTION: An image light from an original image 3 is focused at a prescribed point Q, and thereafter, supplied to a zoom projecting lens 7 through a reducing lens 4, and projected onto a screen 8. When a focal distance of the reducing lens 4 is denoted as (f), the prescribed point Q is set within a range of ±f/2 against its focal position P. In this way, the image light supplied to the zoom projecting lens 7 from the reducing lens 4 becomes a parallel luminous flux.
