Abstract: PURPOSE:To send a high frequency signal continuously by forming a microstrip line over a circle having a circumferential length corresponding to the electric length an integral multiple of the wavelength equivalent to the center frequency of the transmission frequency band by nearly one circular length, folding both ends, and providing a connection terminal and a resistive terminator to a position at the outside of the said circle while being prolonged from the folded parts. CONSTITUTION:Connection lands 21, 22 are provided in a prolonged way to a microstrip 15 while both ends are folded radially and a coaxial cable 17 and a resistive terminator 19 are connected respectively to the lands 21, 22. Moreover, the microstrip 15 is formed over nearly one circle of the circumference having the circumferential length Lo being an internal number of multiple of the wavelength of a high frequency signal. A modulation output signal supplied from a modulator 23 to one end of the microstrip 15 is propagated toward the termination of the microstrip 15 unidirectionally, part of the signal is propagated to the microstrip 16 and demodulated at a demodulator 27. The signal not propagated thereto is absorbed by the resistive terminator 19. Thus, a signal with a broad band is transmitted continuously.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the change of a coupling state with the rotation of a rotary part and to stably perform signal transmission of wide area, by forming microstrip lines over almost entire circumference by dividing the microstrip line at least on one side of the rotary part side or the fixed part side of a rotary coupler which performs the transfer of a high frequency signal into plural pieces. CONSTITUTION:Micro strips 5A, 5B, 6A, and 6B are provided oppositely to each other on each circumferential plane where the rotary part 1 and the fixed part 2 are confronted with each other, and the microstrip lines are formed with those strips and conductor layers 3 and 4. The microstrips 5A and 5B on the rotary part 1 side are provided only on the half of the outer circumference of the rotary part 1. The microstrips 6A and 6B on the fixed part 2 side are arranged at the rotational symmetric position for the rotational center of the rotary part 1. Each sum of the confronting areas of the microstrips 6A and 6B on the fixed part 2 side and the microstrips 5A and 5B on the rotary part 1 side is always set almost at a constant coupling length without being changed by the rotation of the rotary part 1, and also, an impedance characteristic is stabled. In such a way, it is possible to obtain a stable transmission characteristic.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To transmit and receive a high transfer signal by connecting an oscillator to oscillate by a resonance frequency of the third dielectric body line to either of the first or second dielectric body line and modulating a variable impedance circuit connected to the other side by the signal to be transferred.
CONSTITUTION: An oscillating circuit 15 oscillates a resonance frequency of the third line 30 as an oscillating frequency, and when the capacity of a variable impedance circuit 26 is changed by a reproducing signal of a rotary head 25 outputted from the rotation side, the resonance frequency of the third line 30 coupled with the second line 20 is also changed. For that reason, the oscillating circuit 15 is FM-modulated by the reproducing signal from the rotary head 25, and the reproducing signal of the rotary head 25 is outputted to a demodulating circuit 16 connected to the first line 10. Thus, a coupling frequency band of a transfer signal is wide, the prescribed coupling condition can be obtained at any place of the rotary body and the high transfer signal can be transmitted and received.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency by forming one strip line in a closed loop having a length being an integral number of multiple of a signal wavelength of a high frequency signal so as to obtain a very wide signal transmission characteristic in a rotary coupler transmitting/receiving a high frequency signal between the microstrip lines of a rotor and a stator. CONSTITUTION:The microstrip 15 of the rotor 11 is formed to a closed loop having an integral number of multiple, (n) times, of a signal wavelength of a high frequency signal, that is, a circular length lambda0 of n.lambda. Further, the microstrip line 16 of the stator 12 is formed as an open loop having a size being an integral number of multiple (n) of 1/2 wavelength of the wavelength lambdaof the high frequency signal, that is, n.lambda/2. Thus, since the microstrip lines act respectively like resonators, the signal transmission with high efficiency is attained. Since each microstrip line acts like a resonator, the wavelength selectivity is given to the basic resonance frequency f0 and harmonics f1, f2- and each frequency is a pass band.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the oscillation frequency stable at all times, by performing phase detection for the signal through a coupling circuit between a resonator and a line, with the signal through the coupling circuit between the resonator and the line and picking up the phase difference of both the signals as the frequency discriminating output. CONSTITUTION:To the coupling section between lines 12, 14 and a dielectric resonator 13 for microstrip lines 12 and 14, end opposite to an oscillator FET1 is short-circuited with lines 15a, 15b. Further, a the extension of the lines 12, 14 is made wider to form a 90 deg. hybrid coupler 15. Further, the end of extension of the lines 12, 14 of the coupler is grounded via diodes 16, 17 of opposite polarity. That is, a phase detector 20 is constituted with the coupler 15 and the diodes 16, 17, and a signal through the coupling circuit with the resonator 13 and the line 12 is phase-detected with the signal through the coupling circuit between the resonator 13 and the line 14, and the phase difference between both the signals is picked up as a frequency discriminating output VD. Thus, the oscillated frequency can always be stabilized.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to select the level of discrimination signal to an arbitrary point, by taking the ratio of the frequency discriminating signal using at least one dielectric resonator to the detection circuit, and controlling the active element with the output. CONSTITUTION:The microstrip line 30 is provided in parallel with the microstrip line 5 by clipping the dielectric resonator 29, and the frequency discrimination signal VD3 is obtained at the terminal 32, and the microstrip line 33 is provided near the line 5, and the detection output voltage VM having almost flat characteristics against frequency change and depending on the output level of the oscillator is obtained at the terminal 34. Next, the signals VD3 and VM are divided at 37 and the output is fed to the gate of GaAs-FET1 through the terminal 26 and the inductance element 27 to control the oscillating frequency. In this case, even if the output level of the oscillator is varied and the signals VD3 and VM are respectively kVD3 and kVM, the output of the divider 37 is constant and is independently of the output variation of the oscillator. Accordingly, the level of the frequency discrimination signal can be selected to an arbitrary point.
