This invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article thereof, respectively excellent in flowability and mechanical properties, and, in a preferred mode, also excellent in low warping property, laser transmittance and laser weldability, and provides a thermoplastic resin composition obtained by mixing (B) 0.1 to 4 parts by weight of a polyfunctional compound having three or more functional groups, in which at least one of the terminal structures having the functional groups is a structure containing alkylene oxide units, with (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin, and further provides a molded particle thereof. It is preferred that the (A) thermoplastic resin is one or more selected from a polyester resin and polycarbonate resin.

A resin composition comprising a polylactic acid-based resin (A) and methacrylic resins (B), wherein the methacrylic resins having at least (a) a difference of 10°C or more in glass transition temperature or (b) a difference of 3% or more in syndiotacticity; it is preferred that at least one of the methacrylic resins (B) is a methacrylic resin having a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 450,000, a glass transition temperature of 110°C or higher and a syndiotacticity of 40% or more, and that the resin composition further contains a multilayer structure polymer formed as particles each consisting of a core layer and one or more shell layers covering it (C). A molded article made of said resin composition.

An object of the present invention is to provide a thermoplastic polyester resin composition having an excellent retention stability and capable of producing a molded article excellent in mechanical properties and heat resistance as well as in long-term hydrolysis resistance; and the molded article. The thermoplastic polyester resin according to the present invention includes 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin (A) and from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a biphenyl aralkyl-type epoxy resin or cyclopentadiene-type epoxy resin (B) of a specific type.

[Object] The object is to provide a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent heat resistance, excellent molding processability and excellent impact resistance and especially having excellent flame retardancy and a molded product made of the same. [Solution] A thermoplastic resin composition comprises: 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin including a polylactic acid resin (A); 10 to 50 parts by weight of a flame retardant (B); and 1 to 20 parts by weight of low melting point glass powder (C) having a median diameter (D50) in particle size distribution measurement of not greater than 6 µm and a softening temperature of not higher than 600°C.

A polylactic acid base polymer composition comprising a combination of an appropriate polylactic acid type polymer and an appropriate lubricant having polyether and/or polyester segments. The polylactic acid base polymer composition has satisfactory flexibility, and the plasticizer evaporation and migration (bleedout) therefrom and the turbidity thereof exhibited upon heating are extremely low. The polylactic acid base polymer composition is useful as a molded article, such as a film.

SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by compounding a polylactic acid resin, a polyacetal resin and an acrylic resin. The molding, film and fiber comprising the composition are provided.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid resin composition forming a polylactic acid stereo complex having a high melting point, an efficient production method thereof and a molded article having good moldability. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid resin composition is obtained by melting and mixing poly-L-lactic acid and poly-D-lactic acid, wherein a relationship between weight-average molecular weight Mw of poly-L-lactic acid and weight- average molecular weight Mw of poly-D-lactic acid satisfies the conditions: |Mw(A)-Mw(B)|>=50,000.
