    Abstract: A resin composition comprising a biodegradable resin (A), a polyolefin resin (B) and a dispersing agent (C), which has a sea-isle structure in which the biodegradable resin (A) is dispersed as isles in the polyolefin resin (B) existing as a sea component, wherein the average dispersed particle size of the biodegradable resin (A) is 1 nm to 1000 nm. The resin composition of this invention contains a biodegradable resin low in environmental load such as polylactic acid, and can provide a molded article at productivity equivalent to that of presently available molded polyolefin articles, which has a moisture-proof property, dimensional stability, etc. equivalent to those of the presently available molded polyolefin articles.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a resin composition containing a biodegradable resin (A), a polyolefin resin (B) and a dispersing agent (C). The resin composition has a sea-island structure wherein the biodegradable resin (A) is dispersed like islands in the polyolefin resin (B) as the sea component, and the biodegrada ble resin (A) has an average dispersed particle diameter of not less than 1 nm but not more than 1000 nm. This resin composition contains a biodegradabl e resin such as a polylactic acid which places only a little burden on the e nvironment, and enables to obtain a molded article having moisture-proofing properties and dimensional stability equal to or higher than those of conven tional polyolefin molded articles, while maintaining the productivity of the conventional polyolefin molded articles.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a biaxially oriented polyester film comprising at least three polyester resin layers A1/B/A2, and having a melting point in the range of 246 to 270°C, wherein the major component of the layer A is polyethylene terephthalate and the stress at 100% elongation in the film's longitudinal direction and width direction at 150°C and 200°C meets the following equations: 2 ‰ (F100 MD +F100 TD ) ‰ 100 and 1 ‰ F100 TD ‰ 60. The invention provides a film that has a high dimensional stability at high temperatures to permit uniform metal deposition, suffers little change in appearance during thermoforming, and serves for easy production of formed parts that closely meet the shape of the die when subjected to low-stress forming.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially stretched polyester film which shows excellence in not only flex pinhole resistance required for a packaging material but also stick pinhole resistance. SOLUTION: The biaxially stretched polyester film is a laminate film which comprises a polyester layer (1) composed of 60 to 90 mass% of a polyester resin (A) having an ethylene terephthalate unit as a major component unit and 40 to 10 mass% of a polyester resin (B) having a butylene terephthalate unit as a major component unit, and a polyester layer (2) containing less polyester resin (B) than the polyester layer (1) and being placed on each of both surfaces of the polyester layer (1), wherein the film has a surface orientation coefficient of 0.16-0.175 and shows an absolute value of the difference between a refraction index in the lengthwise direction and that in the widthwise direction of from 0.0001 to 0.01.
