CONSTITUTION:(B) 100-6,000ppm, perf. 300-3,000ppm (calculated as Li) of LiCl is blended with (A) a polyamide resin contg. not more than 14 amide gp. per 100 carbon atoms (e.g. a polyaminoundecamide). The mixt, is melt-kneaded and then molded into a rod or a sheet to form the desired heat-sensitive element. EFFECT:Electrical properties are remarkably changed with temperatures. The amount of the element is not changed with time by bleedout. The element does not corrode aluminum and copper which are used for signal conductors.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve performances such as faster water developing speed and faithful reproduction of fine lines and small spots etc. by making combined use of the copolymerized polyamide containing the specific amount of the polyether segment portions of the specific molecular weights and a photo-polymerizable unsaturated compound. CONSTITUTION:The polyoxy ethylene which has amino groups or carboxyl groups at the terminal and which is of 150-1500 in number average molecular weight of the polyether segment portions, the copolymerized polyamide which contains 30- 70wt% of the constituting units composed of aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or diamine and whose value of O/N is within a range of 1-4 and a photo-polymerizable unsaturated compound (acrylic ester of glycol, etc.) are combined at 5-200wt% based on the weight of the polyamide, and besides these, a photosensitizer, heat polymerization inhibitor are added to produce the photosensitive resin composition. In this way, the printing plate or the like which is of good transparency, soft, tough and highly accurate is obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a carbon fiber for a chopped strand useful for a carbon- fiber reinforced composite material excellent in mechanical characteristics by applying a binder consisting essentially of a thermosetting resin and a curing agent to a carbon fiber bundle. SOLUTION: This carbon fiber bundle for a chopped strand comprises 0.5-5wt.% binder applied thereto and has a bending resistance within the range of 20-100mm. The carbon fiber bundle is obtained by preparing a binder, containing at least one water-soluble curing agent, selected a (cyclo)aliphatic amine, an aliphatic amine containing an aromatic ring, an aromatic amine and an imidazole compound and added to an emulsion prepared by emulsifying and dispersing a thermosetting epoxy resin in water and having >=50 deg.C glass transition point temperature, impregnating the carbon fiber bundle with a liquid of the binder, then drying the resultant carbon fiber bundle by heating, removing water and curing the epoxy resin.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a woven fabric for a carbon-fiber reinforced plastic(CFRP), having a sufficient cover factor, a slight extent of bowed weft yarns and excellent in compressive strength, etc., by binding both selvedge parts of a carbon fiber woven fabric with a small number of binding yarns and then carrying out the opening treatment of the woven fabric with water jets. CONSTITUTION: One to ten binding yarns for preventing weft yarns 1 from fraying are woven into both selvedge parts of a carbon fiber woven fabric to carry out the opening treatment of the woven fabric with water jets. The basis weight of the woven fabric is preferably about 140-220g/m and the woven fabric having >=95% cover factor and

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition desirable for obtaining an advanced composite material having excellent mechanical properties and durability by mixing an epoxy resin with a curing agent and a reactive-group-containing solid acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber in a specified manner. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by adding a curing agent to a mixture comprising a reactive-group-containing solid acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber and an epoxy resin and obtained by dissolving the rubber and the resin in an organic solvent and removing the solvent from the resulting solution with a thin film evaporator. This composition is one comprising the epoxy resin, the curing agent and the reactive-group-containing solid acrylonitrile/ butadiene rubber in an amount of 3-10wt.% based on the entire resin composition and satisfying the relationship (wherein P is the viscosity (poise) of the epoxy resin composition at 80 deg.C, and W is the percentage by weight of the reactive- group-containing solid acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber based on the entire resin composition).
