    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the label for cloth which is easy to mount, is not affected by processing and permits easy reading of characters and symbols even after processing in a processing stage such as dyeing of various kinds of fabrics by printing one surface of a transparent plastic film having resistance to heat, water and chemicals and coating the printed surface with a heat-, waterand chemical-resistant hot melt adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The printed surface side of the label is adhered to cloth or cloth products via the hot melt adhesive applied thereon. Then, the printing appears on the front surface of the label through the transparent plastic film and, therefore, the printing in reversal is necessary. Materials having the resistance to heat, water and chemicals are used for both the plastic film and hot melt adhesive as the base material and, therefore, the label stuck to the cloth is capable of exhibiting the high resistance to heat, water and chemicals as well. Such transparent plastic films include films consisting of polyolefin, polyamide, etc. The hot melt adhesives include ethylene vinyl alcohol system, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the inexpensive bar code label which obviates the generation of tearing, rupture, thermal shrinkage, and obscuration of printing even if cleaning is repeated a substantial number of times by printing bar codes, by using heat resistant ink, on the heat resistant coating layer applied on one surface of a heat resistant plastic film. CONSTITUTION:A layer consisting of a compsn. essentially consisting of a poly(meth)acrylate copolymer or a layer consisting of a compsn. essentially consisting of a nonaq. polyester copolymer formed by grafting a compd. having an unsatd. bond contg. alkoxy silane or glicidyl group is first provided as the heat resistant coating layer on at least one surface of the film consisting of any of a fluororesin, a resin compsn. essentially consisting of poly-p-phenylene sulfide, a polymer having imide groups in the molecule and an arom. polyamide polymer as the heat resistant film. The heat resistant coating layer is then subjected to bar code printing. This bar code label has the sufficient durability to cleaning of cloth products, such as sheets and towels.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To cast stably at a high speed and efficiently a thermoplastic resin sheet, by a method wherein a thickness of a liquid film of water on the central part of a sheet is specified and the same on both end parts of a widthwise direction of the sheet is made thicker than the same on the central of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:At the time when a molten body is stuck close to a cooling drum by making use of static electric force, a thickness of a liquid film of water on the central part of a sheet is set to 0.1-30mum. Further, the liquid film of water is made thicker at both end parts of a widthwise direction of the sheet than at the central part and an end part of a nondrum surface side of the sheet is cooled at the same time. With this construction, a cast sheet superior in plane properties is obtained, there is no problem whatever even if the same is used as an unstreached sheet and even in the case where stretching is performed after casting, the sheet is free from meandering and stable film making becomes possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce thickness unevenness of a thermoplastic resin film, by reducing a sound wave which causes the thickness unevenness in the neighborhood of a nozzle when the thermoplastic resin film is prepared. CONSTITUTION:An undrawn film is obtained by heating and melting a thermoplastic resin above the m.p., extruding it from a nozzle into a film-shape and charging preferably an electrostatic charge on the film to tightly adhere it on a cooling drum. It is essential to keep a level of a sound pressure at a definite value or less in the neighborhood of the nozzle, when this undrawn film is prepared. Namely, the film preparation is carried out in such a condition that every sound pressure level of 1/3 octave central frequency is kept at 75dB or lower for the sound at 50Hz or lower, every sound pressure level of 1/3 octave central frequency is kept at 80dB or lower for the sound in the range of 50Hz-200Hz, and every sound pressure level of 1/3 octave central frequency is kept at 85dB or lower for the sound in the range of 200Hz-1,000Hz, thereby to obtain a thermoplastic resin film having less uneven thickness.
