    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled fibers, consisting of two polyester polymers having different solubilities, having a specific readily soluble polymer near the fibrous surfaces, and useful for high-class woven and knitted fabrics having improved scroop feeling, elegant gloss and color developing property. CONSTITUTION:Composite fibers, obtained by spinning (B) a polyester prepared by copolymerizing ester unts containing 2.4mol% or more metallic sulfonate, e.g. a mixed polyester containing 3-80% copolyester of 2.4mol% or more 5-sodium sulfoisophthalae and 70mol% or more ethylene terephthalate as a readily soluble copolymer and (A) a polyester containing 80mol% or more ethylene terephthalate units as a slightly soluble polymer, drawing the resultant yarns to give drawn yarns having the readily soluble polymer (B) positioned at 3-12 sites of the fibrous surfaces and placed as a tapered wedge-like form in the slightly soluble polymer (A) to the interior of the fibers, and dissolving and removing the readily soluble polymer (B) by treating the drawn yarns with an aqueous solution of an alkali, and having grooves on the surfaces thereof.

CONSTITUTION:Two-component composite fibers having a component (B) arranged in the direction of the fibrous surface to the inner part thereof in which any segments of lines perpendicular to a segment (MG) connecting the center (M) of the fibrous surface in the cross section of the component (B) with the center of gravity (G) of the composite fibers may be longer than the length of a segment (PQ) connecting the boundary points (P) and (Q) of the components (A) and (B). The ratio between the maximal length of a segment (XY) and the segment (PQ) is 1.1-4, preferably 1.2-3.5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled conjugated filament easily providing modified cross-section filament useful for woven or knitted goods having crispy feeling free from garish gloss, containing plural components having several wedge-shaped tapering in the central direction, consisting of a specific polyester. CONSTITUTION:The titled conjugated filament of two components having several cross-sectional shapes obtained by separating the component B having wedge shaped tapering in the central direction and consisting of a polyester obtained by copolymerizing an ester containing >=2.4mol metal sulfonate by the other component A comprising a polyester or polyamide. Ethylene-5-sodium sulfoisophthalate unit is preferable as the ester containing metal sulfonate. By removing the component B through dissolution from the conjugated filament having the above-mentioned shapes, a two-leaves cross-sectional filament having high deformation degree is obtained without changing the shapes of the component A.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide both a spinneret for melt spinning capable of reducing the clogging of discharging holes caused by deformation, etc., of a filter installed in order to prevent a granular filter medium from leaking and the filter. CONSTITUTION: The filters 3 and 5 are constituted by rimming the outer peripheries of filter bodies 3a and 5a comprising a wire net or a metallic nonwoven fabric with metallic rims 3r and 5r having 30-150kg/mm Brinell hardness HB (10/500). Furthermore, the spinneret pack for melt spinning is prepared by arranging the filters 3 and 5 between a spinneret 2 and a granular filter layer 6 on the upstream side therefrom so as to nip the rims.
