Abstract:
An integral one piece gum soother with a bristle-less wand, an internal vibrating device, a power supply connected to the internal vibrating device, an on/off switch for activating the internal vibrating device, and a mouth guard connected to the bristle-less wand. The mouth guard can extend at a first angle from the bristle-less wand and a flex neck connected to the bristle-less wand can extend at a second angle from the mouth guard. A hollow membrane-free dual chew tip can be connected to the flex neck, wherein the hollow membrane-free dual chew tip can be configured to sustain a reduced temperature from room temperature of at least 20 degrees Fahrenheit if needed.
Abstract:
An exercise balance board may have at least a platform for a user supported by a resilient, air-filled partial sphere. It contains features which allow users of any size or fitness level to properly exercise muscle groups. The balance board allows a user to exercise upper and lower muscle extremity groups either individually or simultaneously.
Abstract:
A first head of a beauty device includes a stirring mechanism stirring bubbles, and a head case provided with an opening for allowing the bubbles stirred by the stirring mechanism to pass through. When the first head is used while being mounted to the body of the beauty device, bubbles are supplied to the stirring mechanism from the body of the beauty device. In a state where bubbles supplied to the stirring mechanism are present between the stirring mechanism and the skin, the bubbles are stirred and moved between the stirring mechanism and the skin by the stirring mechanism, and thus impurities of the skin are removed by the bubbles.
Abstract:
A scalp stimulation assembly includes a panel that can be rubbed along a user's scalp when the user is bathing. A plurality of light emitters is each of the light emitters is coupled to the panel to emit light onto the user's scalp when the panel is rubbed along the user's scalp. Each of the light emitters has an operational frequency in the ultraviolet spectrum to stimulate hair growth on the user's scalp when the panel is rubbed along the user's scalp. A plurality of domes is each of the domes is coupled to the panel to frictionally engage the user's scalp when the panel is rubbed along the user's scalp for stimulating hair growth. A vibration unit is integrated into the panel to physically stimulate the user's scalp when the panel is rubbed along the user's scalp.
Abstract:
A motorized stretching machine for enabling a user to perform stretches targeting areas throughout their body includes a metal base frame with an integral slide track on which a motor driven foot rest apparatus is mounted, a plurality of hand grip frames that enables many different hand grips, and a plurality of foot stands. A plurality of push buttons are disposed in various locations on the right side and left side to allow the user to control the operation of the motor driven foot rest apparatus. The varied positioning of the push buttons facilitates full control during stretches and full stability because the user can hold onto other parts of the machine to assist with balance while actuating the motor control buttons. Advantageously, the overall design helps users engage selected muscle groups without losing balance or flexing any other muscles so the user can enjoy a full stretch.
Abstract:
An auricular peripheral nerve field stimulator system includes an electrical stimulation device for generating electrical stimulation signals and a plurality of therapy electrodes each electrically coupled to the electrical stimulation device and each including a plurality of needles for percutaneous insertion into an auricle of a human ear near at least one neural vascular bundle located therein. In some embodiments, at least one reference electrode electrically is coupled to the electrical stimulation device and includes at least one needle for percutaneous insertion into or adjacent the auricle to provide a ground reference for the electrical stimulation device. The generated electrical stimulation signals are, in any case, delivered by the percutaneously inserted needles to stimulate an auricular peripheral nerve field within the auricle.
Abstract:
An intermittent and sequential compression device accommodates an angular placement and application of the device as used within a limb support. The support can incorporate a variety of supports and braces of the type that can be used with human limbs, and the joints of such limbs, in particular. Disposed within the support is a plurality of sequentially-disposed and intermittently inflatable and deflatable air chambers. Each air chamber has an air inlet port and an air outlet port, which can be the same structure or different structure. Each chamber port is to the first end of an air-passage tube. The second end of the air-passage tube is connected a pneumatic pump, the pneumatic pump being connected to an electric power supply and to a controller. The controller operates in accordance with a pre-programmed scheme to alternate the inflation and deflation of the air chambers.
Abstract:
A walking assistance device includes: a base body; a driving unit that moves the base body; a distance detection unit that detects a distance from the base body to a user; a safety distance range setting unit that set, as a safety distance range, a distance range from the base body to the user during safe walk of the user; a walking state determination unit that determines whether or not the distance detected by the distance detection unit is out of the safety distance range; and a control unit that controls the driving unit when the walking state determination unit determines that the distance is out of the safety distance range. The walking assistance device detects that the distance is narrower than a predetermined distance, wherein the driving unit is controlled when the approach determination unit detects that the distance is narrower than the predetermined distance.
Abstract:
A massaging shoe; switchable on and off, powered by battery or other power supply and using various possible means to provide massaging including; vibration, roller balls, bearing balls and various other methods. One example would include a hard bottom core or sole made of rubber or other material in order to allow motors to be securely attached; then a gel layer that will encase the various different massaging units; there will then be an additional layer above that comprising of a ‘comfortable to the user’ fabric or other material, which will allow movement from below to affect the wearer's feet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical stimulation device with a stimulator containing a generator for generating electrical stimulation impulses with defined stimulation parameters, and a power supply for supplying the generator with electrical energy, and with at least one needle electrode array for insertion into the skin surface of an area that is to be stimulated. This includes an apparatus for stimulating auricular points on the human ear is provided using low voltage pulses that are generated and delivered by portions of the apparatus, particularly by percutaneously implanted needle electrodes into the cranial and/or peripheral nerves and corresponding neural vascular bundles of the auricular and periauricular areas. The system includes methods of evaluating and implanting of the electrode/needle array. The methods may include transillumination of the auricular and periauricular tissues and surrounding neurovascular anatomy.
