The two parts are intercoupled through a welding process to form a welding seam. A material for a side wall molten during a welding process is moved from an original position and solidified as welding fins 96. Since a problem arises in the fins 96 formed on the outside when an inflator is inserted through an opening in a module, the assembly of the ignition tool 60 and the fuel storage tool 62 is mounted through insertion of it in a first part during weld coupling. This constitution eliminates a shearing and a machining work, heretofore needed for removal of the fins 96.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release the gas pressure from an inflater during small fire of the inflater by manufacturing a sealing means to seal a filling port of the material which is melted at the automatic ignition temperature of the inflater, or immediately below the automatic ignition temperature. SOLUTION: The material 52 is thermoplastic plastic, tin, lead or an alloy having low melting point. The seal 50 covers an inner end of a filling port 22, and is slightly extended into the filling port 22. The seal can be ejected into the filling port 22 in a soft condition so that the sealing material is expanded outward to cover the filling port. The material of the seal 50 is melted or softened at the automatic ignition temperature or immediately below the automatic ignition temperature, for example, at an appropriate temperature in a small fire such as 842-932 deg.C (450-500 deg.F). The sealing material is melted or burned during a small fire, and the compressed gas in a chamber 14 is discharged before the pressure is in a dangerous condition and an inflater container is exploded.
