    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing a slip between a mat having a flexible polymer lining surface, and a second surface adjacent to the lining surface. SOLUTION: Aqueous solution of polyvinyl acetate is applied to a lining surface, the lining surface having this liquid on it is brought into contact with a second surface while this solution is still wet. This method is especially effective when a mat has a flexible lining surface containing flexible polymer selected from among natural rubber, natural elastomer, and synthetic elastomer. Contact action is made before this solution is completely dried. This solution may be directly applied to the lining surface or by spraying. This solution may be directly applied to the second surface by spraying, possibly. This solution contains 1-90 wt.% solution of polyvinyl acetate, or occupies 1-99 wt.% of the solution as polyvinyl acetate, for example.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compsn. which provides a clean, clear, and glossy appearance by incorporating an arom. sulfonate, a sulfonate ester, a nonionic antifoaming surfactant, and an aq. diluent into the same. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains 0.15-15 wt.% arom. sulfonate surfactant represented by formula I (e.g. an alkyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate), 0.3-18 wt.% ester sulfonate surfactant (e.g. a dialkylsulfosuccinate ester), 0.1-11 wt.% nonionic antifoaming surfactant (e.g. an acetylene glycol surfactant), and 0.1-15 wt.% water-soluble solvent (e.g. ethanol). If necessary, the compsn. further contains 0.1-4 wt.% sequestering agent and 0.01-2.5 wt.% non-quaternary-ammonium antimicrobial agent. In the formula, R1 is a 1-12C aliph. group; R2 is H+, an alkali metal cation, NH4+, or a mono-, di-, or triethanolamine cation; and R3 and R4 are each a 1-20C aliph. group.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately confirm extraction of a liquid and securely distribute the diluted liquid, by using a multi-port valve to selectively send out the diluted liquid from a mixing device to a selected position. SOLUTION: The distribution device 10 is provided with a mixing device 20 in which a diluent supplied form a supply source 12 of a diluent and a chemical compound supplied from a supply source 32 of chemicals are mixed to generate a diluted liquid for use. The diluted liquid is sent out to one of a plurality of use points 50 through a multi-port valve 100. The mixing device 20, the multi-port valve 100 and the constituting parts of the distribution device 10 are controlled by a controller 18. In this way, liquid extraction can be accurately confirmed in a costless, small, and simple system and the diluted liquid can be securely distributed to a plurality of use points.
