PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy plate for a lithographic printing form of which the uniformity of a rough plane due to electrolytic etching is improved so as to prevent a stripe pattern from appearing; and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy plate is composed of 0.1-0.6 wt.% Fe, 0.01-0.2 wt.% Si, 0.001-0.01 wt.% Cu, 0.01-0.08 wt.% Zn, 0.002-0.03 wt.% Ti, and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities and contains a plurality of intermetallic compound particles in the metallic structure. The content (D) of the intermetallic compound particles with particle sizes of 0.1 μm or higher but lower than 1.0 μm and the content (E) of the particles with particle sizes of 1.0 μm or higher satisfy the relation represented by (D/E)×100≥0.20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyvinyl acetal copolymer having high photosensitivity, excellent in adhesiveness to an aluminum substrate, having high print-continuing stability, and further capable of giving such a photosensitive composition that has satisfied quality by using the least possible components (it is preferable from an economical viewpoint) and exhibits the same or partially improved performance in comparison with other compositions known in the current technical level, when the copolymer is used for the photosensitive composition. SOLUTION: This polyvinyl acetal copolymer is obtained by reacting at least two kinds of aldehydes at the same time with a polyvinyl alcohol having a number average molecular weight of 20,000-150,000 g/mol.

The substrate can contain Ni: 0.005-0.1 wt.% and one kind or more than two kinds of rear earth group element: 0.005-0.3 wt.% in addition to the composition. In this case, one kind or more than two kinds among Ce, La, Nd can be selected as the rear earth elements.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new improvement of a system, in which a coating has improved resistance to a specified organic solvent, while exhibiting good developability with respect to a heated region which dissolves in an aqueous developing solution and an unheated region which remains insoluble in the developing solution. SOLUTION: A film-forming composition, containing a carboxylic acid derivative of a cellulosic polymer and a compound which absorbs incident light in the wavelength range of 600-1,400 nm and converts it into heat is provided as a coating on a substrate. When the composition is heated and exposed to an aqueous developing solution for forming an image, the heated region dissolves in the developing solution and the unheated region having resistance to an organic solvent is left.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a photosensitive printing plate excellent in vacuum adhesion, having resistance to wear and pressure, free from surface stickiness in use and causing no problem on developability, etc., after long-time storage. SOLUTION: The photosensitive printing plate 1 has a substrate 2, a photosensitive layer 3 formed on the substrate 2 and mat particles 4 formed on the photosensitive layer 3. The mat particles 4 contain a copolymer containing (meth)acrylamides as constituent units and are formed by dissolving the copolymer in a solvent and applying the resulting solution on the photosensitive layer 3.
