Abstract: A stand assembly and a display device having the same are provided to vary the size of the stand assembly easily by using plural support bars and rotating/folding portions, thereby easily moving the display device. A stand assembly(120) includes a stand base(121), a stand shaft(126), and plural support bars(127). The stand base has a containing space in the inside. The stand shaft is interposed between a display unit and the stand base. A part of the plural support bars is contained in the containing space of the stand base. The plural support bars have rotating/folding portions(127a). The rotating/folding portions are engaged so that the rest of the support bars can rotate between a folding position and an installation position by the rotation of at least one support bar.
