Abstract: An apparatus and a method for hiding a phone number stored in a terminal and an item relating to the phone number are provided to individually create the list of a phone number having a set password among phone numbers input to the terminal and allow the search of the list of general phone numbers. It is determined whether a password function is set with respect to an input phone number. The phone number is stored in a list of phone numbers having a set password if the password function is set. Abstract: PURPOSE: A portable computer is provided to make ground connection easy by connecting system ground to LCD(liquid crystal display) ground between two hinges, and to improve block of electromagnetic wave by forming a small ground loop. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(7) receives an electric signal from a system body(3) and thereby displays a screen. The LCD panel(7) is attached on a cover of a portable computer(1). This cover is coupled to the system body(3) by a hinge(9). The system body(3) is opened and closed by rotation of the cover. The cover is comprised of a front panel(5) and a rear panel(6) which protect the LCD panel(7) from an outside impact.
