본 발명은 터치 스크린(touch screen)을 갖는 휴대 단말기의 탭(tap)을 통한 기능 실행 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 터치 스크린의 일정 영역을 응용프로그램의 특정 기능과 링크하고, 응용프로그램을 실행하여 터치 스크린에 표시하고, 터치 스크린의 일정 영역의 임의의 지점이 탭되면, 응용프로그램의 특정 기능을 실행하는 과정을 포함하는 터치 스크린을 갖는 휴대 단말기의 탭을 통한 기능 실행 방법을 제공한다. 이때 일정 영역은 터치 스크린에서 응용프로그램의 실행 화면이 표시되는 영역이다. 특정 기능은 응용프로그램을 이용할 때 자주 이용하는 기능이다. 그리고 응용프로그램은 촬영 모드, 음악 재생 모드, 대기화면 모드 중에서 적어도 하나를 포함한다. 터치 스크린, 터치, 탭, 응용프로그램, 실행
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for scrolling a list of a mobile terminal are provided to allow a user to differentiate the speed of each sweep event to make a scroll speed of a list item different from each other to simplify scrolling. An input unit(120) includes a touch pad(121) and generates a sweep event of the touch pad. A speed determining unit(130) checks the speed of the sweep event and sets a scroll speed according to the speed of the sweep event. A controller(140) controls scrolling of a list item according to the scroll speed. When a pre-set time lapses while the list item is being scrolled, the controller stops scrolling. The touch pad includes two or more sensors, and the sweep event occurs when the two or more sensors sense continued touches.

휴대용 무선 단말기에서 충전기의 발열 현상을 줄이는 기술에 관한 것이다. 충전을 위한 외부 어댑터를 구비한 휴대용 무선 단말기 내장형 충전기의 발열 현상을 줄이는 회로에 있어서, 상기 외부 어댑터를 통해 공급되는 전류를 배터리에 전달하며, 리니어 영역에서 레귤레이터 동작을 하는 파워트랜지스터와, 상기 파워트랜지스터와 배터리 사이에 접속되어 배터리 충전 전류를 검출하기 위한 전류감지저항과, 상기 전류감지저항 양단의 전압 강하 정도가 제1기준전압 보다 크면 상기 파워트랜지스터가 포화영역에서 동작하여 전력 경로를 제공하도록 하는 전류궤환루프와, 상기 배터리 충전 전압이 제2기준전압보다 크면 상기 파워트랜지스터가 다시 레귤레이터 동작을 하도록 하는 전압궤환루프로 구성됨을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A data cable circuit is provided to be capable of minimizing a power consumption according to an activation of an RS-232C port for data communication. CONSTITUTION: A level converting part(10) adjusts an RS-232C level and a TTL level so that data can be transferred between a PC and a terminal. Since the terminal operates at the 5V or 3V TTL level, a signal level is adjusted into the RS-232C level. A cable control part(40) is controlled by the terminal through a serial interface. The cable control part(40) is connected to power control, system clock and system data terminals(DCVOLT,SCL,SDA) of the terminal. A power feedback part(20) consists of two transistors(21,22). An emitter of the first transistor(21) is connected to a power supply voltage(Vcc), its base is connected to a collector of the second transistor(22), and its connector is connected to the power control terminal(DCVOLT) through a current limiting resistor(R1).

PURPOSE: A method for measuring a time used in a mobile wireless terminal is provided to measure the time used in a mobile wireless terminal, by measuring used frame amount, and to measure a time used according to communication enterprises in a dual band. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a time used in a mobile wireless terminal comprises the steps of: checking whether a communication path is connected; if so, measuring a received frame amount; checking whether the communication path is blocked; if so, measuring a used time by multiplying the measured frame amount by a time taken when a frame receives or transmits. The time received or transmitted by a frame is 4.615 milliseconds.

PURPOSE: A method in a dual band wireless terminal using GSM(Global System For Mobile Telecommunication) is provided, so that a user can previously input a prior channel selection condition and a terminal can automatically select channels. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically selecting channels in a terminal using a dual-band comprises the steps of: a first step of storing a communication proprietor after predetermining; a second step of checking whether channels of the predetermined communication proprietor capable of communicating is among the receiving channels; a third step of selecting a channel having the biggest received signal strength indicator(RSSI) among the channels as a communication channel, when a channel of the predetermined communication proprietor exists; a fourth step of selecting a channel of the other communication proprietor, capable of communicating except the predetermined communication proprietor, when the channel of the predetermined communication proprietor does not exist.

PURPOSE: A battery defective sensing device and method of portable communication terminal is provided to prevent unnecessary charge to the defective battery. CONSTITUTION: The battery defective sensing device of portable communication terminal comprises: an outer adapter providing charge current; a battery(51) having a protect circuit(52) and serving as a power supply; a charge circuit(40) operated under prescribed control, detecting under the appliance of said charge current, and uniformly maintain the charge current in accordance to said detected charge current and said battery voltage to supply it to said battery; a memory(20) having a battery state flag, and storing prescribed state value according to the error of the battery in said battery state flag; a display(80) displaying a battery defective alarm characters under prescribed control; an alarm(70) generating a battery defective sound; and a microprocessor(10) making said charge circuit into ON/OFF.
