이 고안은 모니터와 같은 전자제품에서 EMI 대책의 일환으로 적용되고 있는 접지장치에 관한 것으로서, 접지물에 고정되고 양측에 피접지물과 접촉되는 접촉편부를 가진 V자형의 어스플레이트를 갖는 접지장치에서 상기 접촉편부가 강제당김수단에 의해 내측방향으로 당겨지는 탄력을 갖도록 하고, 상기 강제당김수단은 압축코일스프링이 설치되도록 한 것으로서, V자형의 어스플레이트가 피접지물에 접촉되는데 있어 압축코일스프링에 의해 접촉편부가 피접지물에 접촉되는 밀착력이 향상됨에 따라 그라운드효과가 향상될 수 있도록 한 것이다.

PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a method for adjusting a three-dimensional effect are provided to confirm whether a three-dimensional effect is displayed on a three-dimensional image or not and adjust the three-dimensional effect. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus comprises a display unit, receiving unit, a transition information calculation unit (121), a depth information calculation unit (123), a three-dimensional image conversion unit (125), and a user interface (UI) generation unit (150). The transition information calculation unit calculates transition information which indicates the difference between left and right eye image signals of a three-dimensional image signal. The depth information calculation unit calculates the first depth information of the three-dimensional image signal. The three-dimensional image conversion unit generates a first depth map. The UI generation unit generates a menu button for adjusting the first depth information. PURPOSE: A cable connector is provided to enable a user to easily arrange a cable connector by effectively identifying the cable connector. CONSTITUTION: A cable(100) includes one or more signal lines(102) arranged within the sheath of the cable. A connector(200) is formed at the one end of the cable. The connector includes a rotation member(210), a main body unit(220), and a movable sub body(230). The rotation member is connected to the cable. The main body unit includes a rotation member mounting unit. The sub body unit includes a plug inserted into the terminal unit of a first electronic apparatus. The sub body is relatively moved for the main body unit.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A media player device and wake up method are provided to effectively use contact locations which are connected to an external apparatus by receiving a wakeup signal. CONSTITUTION: A power unit(110) outputs a main power or a standby power. An interface unit(140) senses the connection between contact locations and an external apparatus. When the external apparatus is connected, a control unit(120) executes a media player device by controlling the power unit. The contact locations include a first pair contact location group which transmits first data and a second pair contact location group which transmits second data. The interface unit confirms the connection of the external apparatus through the first pair contact location group.

PURPOSE: A method for controlling an external apparatus according to the power state and an electronic apparatus using the same are provided to enable a first external apparatus to be used in the power-off state by switching the first external apparatus to a second external apparatus or the electronic apparatus according to the power state when the first external apparatus is connected. CONSTITUTION: The first and second interface units(260,270) are respectively connected to the first and second external apparatus. A switch(250) switches the first external apparatus to the second external apparatus or the electronic apparatus to be accessed. The first external apparatus is connected to the first interface unit. When the power of the electronic apparatus is power-on state, the controller controls the switch for making the first external apparatus access the electronic apparatus. When the power of the electronic apparatus is power-off state, the controller controls the switch for making the first external apparatus access the second external apparatus.

An apparatus and a method for compensating image blocking artifacts are capable of eliminating image blocking artifacts occurring in consecutively input image signals, in advance. The apparatus for compensating image blocking artifacts has a video signal comparing unit for comparing gradation values of video signals which are consecutively input at a predetermined time interval, the video signal comparing unit determining if the difference between the gradation values meets a certain condition, as the image blocking artifacts occur in the consecutively input video signals; and an operation processing unit for removing the image blocking artifacts by adding/subtracting the gradation values of the input video signals when it is determined that the image blocking artifacts occur. By eliminating the image blocking artifacts occurring in the consecutively input image signals, the image blocking artifact compensating apparatus can provide a clearer video on the liquid crystal display.

A SQRT calculator capable of calculation with a minimal error is provided. The integer calculation unit selects a largest integer from a set of integers with a square of each of the integers smaller than an input datum. The transformation unit transforms the selected integer from the integer calculation unit by multiplying it by 2 and shifts a decimal point of the resulting number to the right by 1 place, thereby adding a certain number less than 10 to the decimal point shifted number to calculate a transformation value. The calculation unit shifts a decimal point of the number less than 10 to the left by 2 places and multiplies the transformation value by the resulting value, thereby subtracting the multiplied value from the input datum and choosing a largest number less than 10 with the subtracted value being in a desired range as a second decimal number of the square root. Thus, the SQRT calculator is capable of calculation with minimal error and, furthermore, has a minimum size of hardware.
