Abstract: A vacuum cleaner is provided to divert a first inhalation path connected to the dust collector unit from the suction unit or a second inhalation path connected from the extension tube to the dust collector unit with a simple manipulation of attaching or detaching the extension tube to/from the body frame. A vacuum cleaner comprises a main body including a suction motor, a dust collector unit, and a body frame(11) in which the suction motor and the dust collector unit are installed, a suction unit connected to the bottom of the body frame, an extension tube assembly including a hose(30) and an extension tube(50) connected to the hose, and an inhalation path diverting unit which is arranged in the body frame. The inhalation path diverting unit includes a diverting duct a part of which is flexibly arranged in the inhalation path in order to convert the inhalation path, a first inhalation duct(110) connected to the suction unit, a second inhalation duct(120) connected to the hose, and a guide duct(130) connected to the dust collector unit. One end of the diverting duct is connected to the guide duct, while the other is selectively connected to the first inhalation duct or the second inhalation duct.
