Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method for measuring a distance using a radar signal. The device for measuring a distance using a radar signal, according to an embodiment of the present invention, includes: a transmission signal generation unit for generating a radar transmission signal including a plurality of chirp signals; a reference signal generation unit for generating a reference signal by delaying the radar transmission signal in units of chirp signal; a signal combining unit for sequentially combining the radar transmission signal and the reference signal in units of chirp signal so as to generate a combined signal; a radar transmitting/receiving unit for radiating the combined signal to an object and for receiving a reflected laser reception signal; and a distance calculation unit for detecting a distance to the object using a frequency difference between the combined signal and the radar reception signal. The device for measuring a distance using radar, according to the embodiment of the present invention, uses the combined signal obtained by combining the radar transmission signal and the reference signal so that unnecessary external influences, i.e., influences of radar signals transmitted through other channels, can be minimized. Therefore, the distance to the object to be detected can be correctly measured.
