본 발명은 방송 수신기에서의 채널 선택 방법으로서, (a) 상기 방송 수신기에서 제공 가능한 방송 채널의 채널 리스트를 미리 생성하는 단계와, (b) 상기 방송 수신기에 대응하는 제어 장치로부터 채널 검색 사용자 입력을 수신하는 단계와, (c) 상기 채널 검색 사용자 입력에 대응하여 상기 채널 리스트 내의 다수의 상기 방송 채널에 대해서 각각 미리 지정된 시간 간격에 대응하여 채널 전환 및 디스플레이를 수행하는 단계와, (d) 상기 디스플레이 도중에 상기 제어 장치로부터 채널 선택 사용자 입력을 수신하는 단계와, (e) 상기 채널 선택 사용자 입력에 대응하는 상기 방송 채널을 상기 방송 수신기의 재생 채널로 설정하는 단계를 포함하는 채널 선택 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 종래의 채널 선택 방법과 병행하여 사용되어 방송 채널을 자동으로 전환하면서 사용자의 선택에 따라서 원하는 방송 채널을 선택할 수 있으며 사용자가 방송 채널의 방송 프로그램 정보를 정확하게 알지 못하는 경우 방송 채널 전환에 따른 불편함을 최소화할 수 있다. 방송, 채널 선택, 채널 전환

An apparatus and a method for providing an advanced EPG service for a mobile terminal are provided to transcode received broadcasting information on the basis of reproduction properties defined according to received terminal information and APEG list information, configure a contents information list suitable for a user terminal, generate APEG information, and transmit the generated APEG information to the user terminal, thereby satisfying user's desire that the user wants to view the broadcasting information anytime anywhere. An apparatus for providing an advanced EPG(Electronic Program Guide) service for a mobile terminal includes a broadcasting information providing unit(100), a user terminal(300), and a home server(200). The broadcasting information providing unit provides broadcasting information. The user terminal provides terminal information and reproduces the broadcasting information received from the home server. The home server converts the broadcasting information, received from broadcasting information providing unit, into APEG(Advanced EPG) information optimized to a corresponding terminal on the basis of the terminal information received from the user terminal and provides the optimized APEG information to the user terminal. The home server includes a broadcasting information receiver(210), a broadcasting information storage unit(220), a terminal information receiver(230), a terminal information management unit(240), a terminal APEG generator(250), and a terminal APEG transmitter(260). The broadcasting information receiver receives terminal information and APEG list information received through the user terminal. The terminal information management unit analyzes the user terminal on the basis of the received terminal information and the APEG list information to define reproduction properties by a user terminal. The terminal APEG generator transcodes the broadcasting information received on the basis of the defined reproduction properties to configure a contents information list corresponding to the user terminal and generate APEG information. The terminal APEG transmitter transmits the generated APEG information to the user terminal.
Abstract:
In the conventional video recording apparatus, a coding quality is simply determined according to a value set through a manipulation of a user. However, the above-described method is not suitable to an application, such as a monitoring camera system, having a high degree of concern for an image only when a moving object exists in the image. To solve such a problem, according to the present invention, after searching a moving object in an image, the coding is performed at a high quality when a moving object exists in an image, and to the contrary, the coding is performed at a low quality when any moving objects do not exist in the image. Thus, the entire quantity of data of the image can be reduced so that efficiency of storing an image is improved and a network bandwidth for transmitting the image can be reduced.

PURPOSE: A method for indexing data sequence and a recording medium recorded with a source program thereof are provided to improve filtering effect and search speed, by selecting a candidate set through distance measurement between query sequence and MBS representing a similar data sequence group. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of data sequence groups grouped in similar data sequences is generated, by clustering data sequences constituted with elements listed in time-series. Minimum bounding sequence constituted with elements corresponding to a minimum value and a maximum value among the elements of the same dimension in the data sequence group is defined as minimum bounding sequence (MBS) representing the data sequence group. The data sequence is indexed on the basis of minimum dynamic time warping (DTW) defined as smallest distance among distances calculated between query sequence and data sequence belonging to the group represented by the MBS.
