Abstract: PURPOSE: An energy-saving apparatus and method for collecting and sorting large marine waste using a catamaran are provided to efficiently collect and sort marine waste using a small amount of energy. CONSTITUTION: An energy-saving apparatus for collecting and sorting large marine waste using a catamaran (30) comprises a bow pulverizing part (40), a density-based sorting part (50), a collecting part, and a triboelectrostatic sorting part (70). The bow pulverizing part collects waste approaching to the bow of the catamaran and pulverizes the collected waste. The density-based sorting part is formed in a tunnel structure and sorts the pulverized waste pieces depending on the density of the waste pieces. The collecting part is installed in the density-based sorting part in a mesh structure and collects the sorted waste pieces. The collected waste pieces move on a vibrating belt (71) and are charged with different electrodes. The triboelectrostatic sorting part sorts the waste pieces moving on the belt depending on the charged electrode difference of the waste pieces. Abstract: PURPOSE: A writing of a vessel safety assessment model and a vessel safety assessment method are provided to effectively perform safety assessment in a short design period through repetitive safety assessment and design application. CONSTITUTION: A vessel is stratified to a task, a function, a system, and a lower system. A table type of vessel safety assessment model is written by classifying the task, the function, the system, and the lower system into input, output, control, mechanism, a position, limitation, damage duration time, and dependability. A task performance possibility defines an accident scenario. The task performance possibility substitutes a vessel movement analysis result for the vessel safety assessment model. A design result is repetitively improved by confirming a safety requirement level.
