Abstract: The present invention relates to a locking structure of a steering column having a pipe-shaped housing and a shaft inserted into the pipe-shaped housing. The invention comprises: a lock bar inserted into the shaft to slide in the longitudinal direction of the shaft; an actuator which allows the lock bar to slide; and a lock pin inserted into the shaft by being connected with a spring. The lock pin overcomes the elastic force of the spring as the lock bar slides. The lock pin protrudes from the outer surface of the shaft. The axial rotation of the shaft stops when the protruding lock pin is inserted into a fixed hole formed in the housing. The present invention is capable of reducing the weight of a product and production costs by removing ESCL mounted on the outer side of the steering column.
