Abstract: PURPOSE: A sealing structure for an exhaust manifold is provided to reduce leakage of exhaust gas by reducing the pressure difference between the interior and exterior of the exhaust manifold. CONSTITUTION: A sealing structure comprises a first body(30) and a second body(40). The first body has a first groove(31) and a second groove(32) with stepped cross sections. The second body has a first protrusion(41) and a second protrusion(42) with stepped cross sections. The first body and the second body are coupled with each other. The inner surface of the first groove surface-contacts the outer surface of the first protrusion, and the inner surface of the second groove surface-contacts the outer surface of the second protrusion. Abstract: PURPOSE: A sealing bearing of an auto-tensioner for a vehicle is provided to cut down manufacturing cost, to reduce the number of parts, and to increase the productivity by bearing the shaft and preventing leakage of grease with modifying the shape of the plastic bearing installed in the auto-tensioner housing. CONSTITUTION: The sealing bearing of an auto-tensioner comprises an idle pulley(10) contacted to a belt and rotated freely; a tension arm(11) adjusting the position of the idle pulley; a housing(12) fastened to the vehicle body to support; a shaft(13) pivotally connected to the tension arm with the idle pulley; and a plastic bearing(14) inserted between the inside of the housing and the shaft. A rib is formed in the end of the plastic bearing for the tension arm, and a groove is formed in the housing near the rib to contain the rib. The rib is placed in the groove to restrict leakage of grease such as the friction material for lubricating and damping.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A camshaft of a vehicle is provided to supply oil actively, and to improve performance of an engine by removing burr in the bore of a friction pressure welding portion with a tool inserted to a front shaft in integrating the front shaft with the rear shaft through friction pressure welding. CONSTITUTION: A camshaft is integrally formed in a vehicle by assembling a front shaft(10) with a rear shaft(20) through friction pressure welding. A screw groove(11) is connected to a hollow part(12) by a connecting passage(13) in the front shaft, and welding assembling grooves(14,22) are formed circumferentially in the bore of the front shaft and the bore of the rear shaft in assembling the front shaft with the rear shaft. The welding assembling grooves are connected to each other in longitudinally contacting the front shaft to the rear shaft. The diameter of the welding assembling groove is larger than the diameter of the hollow part of the front or rear shaft.
