    Abstract: PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide-carbonate fixing method is provided to improve the selective extract rate of Ca, and to minimize the usage of NaOH by increasing the pH of an extraction solution for the effective carbonate conversion reaction. CONSTITUTION: A carbon dioxide-carbonate fixing method comprises the following steps: supplying an ammonium salt solvent to material slag as an extraction solution for extracting alkaline metal components; adding a pH adjustor(NaOH) to the extraction solution for increasing the pH from 8-9 to 12; and producing carbonate precipitates from the extraction solution containing the alkaline metal components, by the carbonate conversion reaction converting carbon dioxide injected into the extraction solution inside a carbonation reactor(20). Ammonium salt in the ammonium salt solvent is selected from ammonium chloride, ammonium nitrate, or ammonium acetate.     Abstract: PURPOSE: A dual common rail system is provided to prevent the time delay in the compressible fuel transmission from a high pressure fuel pump to a common rail caused by the compressible fluid characteristics and improve the starting response by filling a proper fuel amount in the rail in the case of engine start. CONSTITUTION: A dual common rail system includes main and sub common rails(21,23), first and second valves(24,28), and a high pressure fuel pump(26). The main common rail is mounted at a side of an engine for compressing fuel and sending the fuel to injectors. The sub common rail is mounted at a side of the main common rail to store the fuel partially. The sub common rail has a driving cam(23a) and a piston(23b) to press the stored fuel to be sent to the main common rail in response to a control signal of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit;22) in the case of engine start. The first valve opens or closes a portion between the main and sub common rails under the control of the ECU. The high pressure fuel pump is driven by the ECU to feedback the high pressure fuel into the sub common rail. The second valve sends the fuel back to the sub common rail from the main common rail through a leak off pipe(27) to obtain a target fuel pressure in the main common rail.
