Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for measuring the inclination of a vehicle to improve responsiveness in measuring the inclination of a vehicle by adjusting themselves to the driving conditions of the vehicle. To achieve this, the present invention includes a high pass filter for high-pass-filtering the output signal of an acceleration sensor which detects the driving acceleration of a vehicle; a deduction unit which deducts the original output signal of the acceleration sensor and the output signal of the acceleration sensor filtered by the high pass filter to obtain the output signal of the acceleration sensor having a frequency lower than a predetermined cut-off frequency; and a calculation unit which calculates the inclination of the vehicle based on the output signal of the acceleration sensor having a frequency lower than the predetermined cut-off frequency.
