Abstract: PURPOSE: A mass damper of a shift controller in a manual transmission is provided to reduce vibration by decreasing repulsive force transmitted into a shift lever and to improve shift feeling. CONSTITUTION: A mass damper for a shift controller of a manual transmission comprises a shift lever connected to a select lever by a select cable; a control shaft reciprocating or rotating by being mounted on a side portion of the transmission; a mass damper(6) applying inertia while rotating the shift lever by being installed on a side portion of the shift lever; a mounting hole(8) penetrating the mass damper by being arranged between the shift lever and the control shaft; a damper body(12) reducing vibration by weight; a second vibration reducing unit reducing the vibration by speed of specific material; a chamber(14) formed around of the through hole of the damper body; a ball(16) movably inserted to the chamber. The shift lever is rotated to transmit rotational force into the control shaft. Thereby, the mass damper for the shift controller of the manual transmission reduces vibration by decreasing repulsive force transmitted into the shift lever.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A shifting gear structure is provided to prevent the reduction of shifting feeling and the shifting defects by changing the shape of a cone portion. CONSTITUTION: Cone portions(13) of shifting gears(12,12') have cutting grooves(13b) to cut a member through an axial direction. Many cutting grooves are formed on the cone portions of the shifting gears radially. Thereby, oil to form a lubricating film between the cone portions and a synchronizer ring is discharged through the cutting grooves. Therefore, the friction efficiency between the cone portions and the synchronizer ring is improved. Moreover, the sudden raising of shifting force is prevented by reducing the cone portions based on the cutting grooves radially.

CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer of a manual transmission is composed of a sleeve engaged with a synchronizer hub rotating with a main shaft, and moved axially; a clutch gear arranged at both sides of the synchronizer hub, and engaged with the sleeve selectively; and a synchronizer ring(16) synchronizing by frictionizing the clutch gear in shifting. Chamfers(30,32) are formed in the synchronizer ring, and engaged with the sleeve in shifting. The chamfer of the sleeve is contacted to the chamfer of the sleeve continuously from phase difference by forming the chamfer to be smaller than the other chamfer. Rattle noise is prevented, and shift quality is improved with generating cone torque.

The second chamfer is longer than the first chamfer, and the phase angle of the second chamfer is different from the phase angle of the first chamfer. Noise is reduced, and shift quality is improved with preventing rattle or nibble by decreasing the contact distance of the chamfer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A synchronizer extends life thereof and improves gearshift quality by forming a friction part of a synchronizer ring as a doubled structure. CONSTITUTION: The friction part of a synchronizer ring(20) comprises the first friction part(26) and the second friction part(28). The first friction part(26) is formed on the inner peripheric surface of the synchronizer ring(20) with equal interval to perform frictional operation with a cone part in the beginning. When the first friction part(26) is worn by the frictional operation thereof, the second friction part(28) formed between the first friction parts performs frictional operation secondly with the cone part.
