    Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a mobile device connected to a vehicle's interactive communication system that includes a display screen. The method identifies at least one search term from audio data received through the vehicle's interactive communication system. At the mobile device, the method performs a search to identify at least one location related to the identified search term. The method generates a map, that displays the identified location, for output on the display screen of the interactive communication system of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A method, comprising: at a computing device with a touch screen display: displaying a first set of a first plurality of icons in a first area of the touch screen display, wherein: the first plurality of icons includes a plurality of sets of icons that are separately displayed in the first area of the touch screen display, and the first plurality of icons include application launch icons, wherein each application launch icon represents a particular application, and activation of a respective application launch icon causes activation of the particular application represented by the activated application launch icon; displaying a second plurality of icons in a second area on the touch screen display, wherein: the second area is different from the first area, and the second plurality of icons include application launch icons; while displaying the first set of the first plurality of icons in the first area of the touch screen display, detecting a finger swipe gesture on the touch screen display in the first area; in accordance with a determination that the finger swipe gesture is in a first direction, replacing display of the first set of the first plurality of icons with display of a second set of the first plurality of icons in the first area on the touch screen display, wherein the second set of the first plurality of icons is distinct from the first set of the first plurality of icons; and in accordance with a determination that the finger swipe gesture is in a direction that is substantially opposite the first direction, replacing display of the first set of the first plurality of icons with a display of information, other than a set in the plurality of sets of icons, customized to a user of the device.

    Abstract: DEVICE, METHOD, AND GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR SYNCHRONIZING TWO OR MORE DISPLAYS A device displays a first user interface on a first display, including a plurality of objects and corresponding to a second user interface on a second display. While a first object is displayed as a selected object in the second user interface, the device: detects a first input requesting information about a second object; and in response to detecting the first input, displays information about the second object in the first user interface and maintains display of the first object as the selected object in the second user interface. After displaying the information, the device detects a second input selecting the second object. In response to detecting selection of the second input, the device: displays the second object as the selected object in the first user interface; and provides, to the second display, information that enables the second user interface to display the second object as the selected object.
