In a test, cucumber seedlings were treated with a spray containing 0.25 ppm prothioconazole and 1 ppm fipronil 20 hours before inoculation with a spore suspension of Sphaerotheca fuliginea, which gave 64% control of infection, compared with a calculated value (Colby formula) of 5%. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
