    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve an operability of an universal head by designating the optional point of the picture of the television image picked up by the first television camera and automatically driving the universal head of the second television camera (for broadcasting) so as to place this designated point at the center of an angle of view to optionally changing a shot only by designating a television picture. CONSTITUTION:A write pen 10 is pressed on a central point 22 of an image 21' of an object on a screen of a monitor television, a detecting signal 11 of a raster in the point of the screen is outputted and the raster address data 8 is inputted to a latch circuit 9. A focus position signal is transmitted from from a lens 1, which indicates the distance from the lens to the object 21 and a coordinate X22 of the point 22 based on these raster data and the distance data of the object are inputted to an arithmetic unit 16. The arithmetic unit 16 operates based on the inputted distance F21 of the object and the coordinate X22, generates a pan angle control signal 17 and a drive device 18 moves a broadcasting camera universal head 20 according thereto and catches the object 21 on the center of the screen by the broadcasting universal head 20.

SOLUTION: When an input output section 6 of an external equipment 3 is not directed to an input output section 4 of an image pickup device 1 but directed to an input output section 5 of a printer 2, at first direct communication between the external equipment 3 and the image pickup device 1 is tried and after this communication is failed, the communication via the printer 2 is tried. In order to make this communication successful, the printer 2 is used for a communication path between the external device 3 and the image pickup device 1 to conduct the transfer of a program from the external device 3 to the image pickup device 1 and the communication to instruct the execution of the transferred program via the printer 2.

All frames of the plural windows stored in the display memory 4 are visually displayed on the display device. Thus, the presence and the area of subordinate windows hidden by an upper window are easily recognized without moving the upper window.

If the variable name is not retrieved in the step S45, the processing returns to the step S42. If the variable name is retrieved, the processing proceeds to step S46 and the information (n) and the text information are stored in an insert buffer. The information are successively stored in a variable definition table in order of earlier arrival.

After that, from the designating point of immediately before and one before it and the coordinate indicated with a position coordinate detector, a broken line to draw from it is decided as the temporary connection and i displayed, and the operator decides the possibility.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To confirm a suction state of a sample to an electrostatic chuck easily and accurately even in a vacuum, by constituting it to detect a holding state of the sample on the basis of electrostatic capacity at the time of sample mounting. CONSTITUTION:Condensers 14 and 15 eliminate the DC high voltage generated by a power source 13, but it is ignorable alternatingly so that a circuit consisting of condensers 12, 14, 15 and a coil 16 is equivalent to an LC oscillation circuit. Therefore, a reactance oscillation circuit 17 is added to it whereby the resonance frequency (f) conformed to capacity inherent in an electrostatic chuck (condenser 12) is detectable. Accordingly, electrostatic capacity C of the condenser 12 and a mean distance (d) between a sample 1 and an electrostatic chuck surface are securable. Therefore, it detection value of this mean distance is set to d2, and another detection value at a time when the sample 1 is surely held is set to d2, respectively, both these detection values d1 and d2 are compared with each other, whereby whether a suction state of the sample at the time of detection is good or not is judgeable. And, when the sample is warped during the process and goes beyond a allowable mean distance d3, the sample is removed.
