    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the accurate read-out of information despite of the deterioration of an optical sensor in sensitivity by comparing the output of the optical sensor with the reference value and controlling the elecrtric power supplied to a light source based on the result of said comparison. CONSTITUTION:A bit terminal Q1 of a shift register SR15 outputs ''H'', and an SW1 is turned on to supply a current corresponding to a resistance R1 to an LED array 3. If the sensitivity of an optical sensor 7 is deteriorated under such conditions, the level of a current ISI flowing to a photodetecting element b1 is reduced. Then the output voltage -VSI rises up to satisfy -VSI>-VREF. A comparator 20 outputs ''H'', and the output pulse of an oscillator 23 is supplied to the SR15 as a shift pulse SH1 through an AND gate 22. Therefore the SR15 shifts the position of ''H'' to a terminal Q2 from the terminal Q1. Thus switches SW1 and SW2 are turned off and on respectively. The base voltage of a TR12 rises and the current flowing to the array 3 increases since R2-R1 is satisfied. This compensates the deterioration of sensitivity of the sensor 7. Then the above-mentioned action is repeated to select the brightness which satisfy -VSI

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize the brightness of a light source by having a switch between the total light-up and the partial light-up according to the temperature of the light source. CONSTITUTION:The temperature T detected by a temperature sensor 4 is amplified by an amplifier circuit 5 and supplied to a comparator 6. The comparator 6 compares the temperature T with set temperatures T1 and T2 (T1>T2) supplied from a temperature setting part 7. The result C of the comparison is supplied to a light-up control part 8 in a binary form. The part 8 decides according to the result C whether it should perform the partial light-up control with the division timing supplied from a division timing generating part 9 or the total light-up control. An LED array 11 is divided into several blocks. It is possible to light up all these divided blocks at a time or light up partially and successively for each block.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To read white part as a dummy easily, surely and in a short time by providing an optical system that can be rotated by desired angle to form a light path between the white part and a reading section. CONSTITUTION:When reading the white part as a dummy, a solenoid 50 is energized, and a light transmitting body 12 is rotated in the direction A together with a lens holder 34 making a rotary pin 30 etc. an axis by pulling a panel 46 by a plunger 52. However, the side face of the blade 36 of the lens holder 34 comes into contact with the end of a pin 40, and the light transmitting body 12 is kept at this position. Accordingly, when reading the white part as a dummy, the light transmitting body 12 is positioned at a position shown by dotted lines in the figure, and reflected light from a white part 24 provided on an original pressing plate 18 is transmitted by the light transmitting body, detected by a sensor 10 and read.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce assuredly the heating quantity and power consumption of light sources in plural blocks without lack of light and to reduce the whole device in size and weight by turning on the light sources successively so as to be overlapped to irradiate a picture. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting diode (LED) arrays 5 are fitted through radiating plates 3 having radiation fins so that a line sensor 2 mounted on a substrate 1 is arranged between the radiating plates 3. The LED arrays 5 are fitted obliquely to the radiating plates 3 so as to light up the reading portion of an original 4. The reading portion is illuminated through rod lenses 7 and the reflected light is formed on the line sensor 2 through a lens 8. Since the LED arrays 5 are constituted longer than the line sensor 2, light reduction at the end parts of the line sensor 2 is prevented and each LED6 is divided into 5 blocks and successively and overlappedly turned on. Thus, the heating quantity and power consumption of the light sources are reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the heating value of a light source and to make the light source part and the whole device small-sized and light by providing a control means for holding the lighting of a light source adjacent to the light source concerned, in case of turning on each light source of a picture reader for turning on successively plural light sources which are placed adjacently. CONSTITUTION:When an START pulse is inputted, a light source block 5 is turned on. When a counter 12 counts a clock pulse corresponding to a T1 time, namely, a time-up to the sense timing of a sensor block SB 1, FFs 9, 10 are reset and set, respectively, and a counter 13 starts counting. When the pulse corresponding to a T2 time is counted, a decoder DCD 14 sets an FF 16 by an output phi1, and light source block 6 is turned on. This turn-on timing is generated when the original scanning position is in a middle point of the SB 1. Subsequently, after a T3 time elapses, the light source block 5 is turned off and 7 is turned on by an output phi2. Thereafter, the turn-off and turn-on are repeated in the same way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To generate count signals classified by mark sizes, and to perform retrieval through simple operation, by recording a mark of the same size with marks, recorded corresponding to images, between the starting image on a recording sheet and the front end of the recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:At the circumferences of respective frames (f) of films F1 and F2 on which images are recorded, marks m1 and m2 differing in density from the circumferences are provided corresponding to the respective frames (f), and those marks m1 and m2 are used to retrieve images classified by small items of the frames (f). Between the starting frames (f) of those films F1 and F2 and the front ends of the films, marks m10 and m20 of the same sizes with the marks m1 and m2 are recorded. The mark m1 or m2 on the film F1 or F2 is irradiated by the lamp 4 of a mark detector and then detected by photodetectors 25-28 through light guide members 20-23 to output of the mark size signal of the mark m1 or m2. This size signal is stored and on the basis of the size information, a count signal which corresposnds to the kind of the mark m10 or m20 is generated, thus facilitating retrieving operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely display lighting of a light emitting element by lighting a display device in synchronization with the switch operation for mark imprinting and putting out the display device by putting-out of a light emitting element for mark imprinting after having been lighted. CONSTITUTION:As a power source switch is closed, an initial reset signal IR is generated, and a flip-flop (FF)13 is reset. The FF13 is set by the negative pulse generated from a differentiating circuit 12 and a display lamp 11' is lighted via a lamp driving element 14. On the other hand, an NAND gate 15 is opened by setting of the FF13, and if a light emitting element 74 for mark imprinting is lighted by inputting of the mark imprinting signal S', a transistor (TR)17 turns off. As the signal S annihilates, the light emitting elements turns off and the TR turns on, and the FF13 is reset by the differentiating circuit 19, then the lamp 11 puts out, but when the light emitting element does not light, the lamp does not put out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of uneven development, increase the conveying speed of a photosensitive material and enable developing to be performed at a high speed by immersing the photosensitive material into a developing soln. then spraying the developing soln. to the inclined part of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A developing tank 360 of a developing device has a liquid storage vessel 361, a slope 362 and a liquid discharge port 363. Film guide rollers 365, 366 are provided to the outlet and inlet of the developing tank, and a film guide roller 367 is provided in the vessel 361. The guide roller 367 moves to the broken line position 367' of the figure during film loading to facilitate initial loading. After the loading, it moves to the solid line position to immerse and guide the film into the vessel 361. The exposed film F contacts the developing soln. in the vessel 361, after which the developing soln. is sprayed thereto at the slope 362 by a nozzle pipe 370, whereby the rate of development is additionally accelerated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the film processing unit simple and achieve miniaturization by providing a common motor for driving a film conveyor, developing solution circulating pump, drying blower, etc. CONSTITUTION:A camera unit 1 is coupled to the film inlet of a processor unit 2 by a connecting pipe 106. The processor unit 2 has a solution processing part 220 for developmant, etc., drying and take-up part 221, processing solution storage part 222, driving part, etc. The motor is double shaft motor which is mounted with a Silocco fan for blast at one shaft and a pinion for speed reduction at the other shaft. Since the blower fan for film drying, pump mechanism for circulating the processing solution, film drive rollers and film take-up part in the processor unit are driven by this motor, the apparatus may be made simple and small in size.
