Abstract: PURPOSE:To speed up the decoding processing by forming a table from a head address of a decoding program of a controller applying decoding at each variable length code and storing the result in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed decoding program is made at each code, the head address of the decoding program corresponding to each code is formed into a table corresponding to the code and stored in a memory 4. After initializing, a coded data is inputted to an input port 2. When data are arranged in the input port 2, the inputted data of the port 2 is checked and the table stored in the memory 4 is referenced in response to the code mode corresponding to each change in the bus, vertical and horizontal directions to decide the head address of the memory stored with the decoding program of the said code. Thus, the speed of decoding processing is improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain sure printing even when the 1st information of a reception original exceeds the capacity of a picture memory by writing data requiring a prescribed capacity duplicatedly in the picture memory and printing out the result as they are when the data requiring a prescribed capacity or over is sent to the picture memory. CONSTITUTION:When the instant memory area receives a reception signal having the same capacity as the memory capacity, a write address reaches a jump address JA and when the memory area receives the reception signal requiring the same capacity or over, the write is started again from a start address SA. That is, a code is written duplicatedly on the instant memory area. When the write address reaches the jump address JA, an interrupt signal is generated. In this case, one print is finished for the reception by allowing printer 200 to start printing when the code is written on the instant memory area and a safe distance is reached. Thus, the 1st print is performed surely.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To use surely an instant memory area in using one picture memory as a storage memory area and the instant memory area by using a storage memory area of a picture memory as a variable area and using the remaining minimum area as the instant memory area. CONSTITUTION:The picture memory 10 is one memory but used for the storage memory area and the instant memory area. The storage memory area 7 stores a prescribed intermediate code (picture data) and is cleared after transmission or prescribed time (e.g., after 24hr). On the other hand, the instant memory area applies simultaneous operation of read/write to a prescribed intermediate code based on the FIFO operation. Further, the storage memory area is a variable area and the remaining area is used as the instant memory area. The minimum area is preserved for the instant memory area, then the minimum area cannot be used as the storage memory area.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To transmit a character pattern representing an own device identification signal before or after the transmission of information recorded on an original, by providing a character pattern storage device. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal and a clock signal from a video signal generator 2 consisting of a CCD are given to a microcomputer 10 via a binary device 5 and a buffer memory 8, and after the redundancy is suppressed, the signals are transmitted to a transmission line 18 via a modulation and demodulation device 12. The computer 10 drives a motor 15 via a motor driving device 14 to control the carrying of the original (not shown). A character pattern storage device 16 stores the character pattern representing the identification signal of the device, and the computer 10 reads out the storage device at the beginning or the end of one screen and transmits the device identification character pattern to the reception side via the device 12.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the burden in the operator and to reduce the transmission time, by automatically controlling the transmission state through the detection of the size of original and recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The size of original is detected at an original width detection circuit 1, the video information recorded on original is read in at a write-in circuit 2 and converted into an electric signal, and after it is modulated at a unit MODEM3, the transmission system between the facsimile device and a telephone set 2 is matched at a unit NCU4 and delivered to the reception side. The reception mode of opposing device is received at a tonal reception circuit 7 at the NCU4 and after receiving the reception mode of opposing party, the information of the size of the original detected at the circuit 1 is fed to the NCU4 from the tonal transmission circuit 8 and transmitted to the reception side. Further, the transmission mode of video signal is selected with the output of the transmission circuit 8 with the content of the reception mode received at the reception circuit 7 to reduce the burden in the operator and to decrease the transmission time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To offer sound (acoustic) service given by a conventional analog telephone set to a user by providing the digital telephone set with a D-channel control part or the like for controlling the originating/terminating state of a call and outputting a corresponding command signal. Consequently, the formation and sending of the corresponding signal and message information are displayed through the control part 3 and the display part 4, and the sound (acoustic) service similar to that of a convention analog telephone set can be offered.
