    Abstract: Trialkoxysilyl compounds in which one or two of the methoxy or alkoxy groups attached to silicon are replaced by larger groups, e.g. 9-30C alkyl, aryl, 2-30C alkyl(poly)ether or triorganosilyl are new. Organosilicon compounds of formula (I) and/or (II) are new. R = methyl or ethyl; R' = 9-30C alkyl or alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, 2-30C alkylether, 2-30C alkyl-polyether (all optionally branched) or R'''3Si; R'' = optionally unsaturated 1-30C aliphatic, aromatic or aliphatic/aromatic hydrocarbylene; R''' = 1-30C alkyl or alkenyl, aralkyl or aryl; X = NH3-n with n = 1, 2 or 3 and m = 1, or OCOR' with n = m = 1, or SH with n = m = 1, or S with n = 2 and m = 1-10, or SCOR' with n = m = 1, or H with n = m = 1. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for the production of (I) and (II) by reacting trialkoxysilyl compounds of formula ((RO)3Si-R)n-Xm (III) with alcohols R'-OH, with continuous removal of the resulting R-OH by distillation; and (2) rubber mixtures containing rubber, filler etc. and at least one compound (I) and/or (II).

    Abstract: 2,4,6-Tri-substituted 1,3,5-triazines (I), including bis(triazinyl) (poly)thioethers, in which (each) triazine ring has 1 or 2 trialkoxy-, alkoxydialkyl- or dialkoxyalkyl-silylalkyl(poly)thio substituent(s), are new. 2,4,6-Tri-substituted 1,3,5-triazines (I), including bis(triazinyl) (poly)thioethers, in which (each) triazine ring has 1 or 2 trialkoxy-, alkoxydialkyl- or dialkoxyalkyl-silylalkyl(poly)thio substituent(s), are new: X = A, B or C independently for each X; A = Y-R -Sn-; R = linear or branched 1-10 carbon (C) alkylidene; Y = (R )3Si-, R )2Si- or (R )2R Si-; R = 1-4 C alkoxy; R = 1-8 C alkyl; B = OR , NR R , SR , SCN or -CO-R ; R = hydrogen (H), branched or linear 1-10 C alkyl or an (un)substituted aromatic group with 6-30 C atoms, optionally with nitrogen (N), sulfur (S) or oxygen (O) atom(s) in the ring; R = linear or branched 1-20 C alkyl; C = (Sm)/2 and bridges 2 triazine units; m, n = 1-8 or mixtures of these, such that the molecule contains at least one A group. The combination of one A group with 2 mercapto groups or one mercapto group and one amino group NR R is excluded.
