    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compsn. capable of effectively attaching a fluorescent brightener to clothes to improve the whiteness of the white clothes washed and finished by using predetermined amts. of a specific polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, a specific inorg. compd., a specific polycarboxylic acid, and a specific fluorescent brightener. CONSTITUTION:This detergent compsn. comprises 12-40wt.% polyoxyethylene alkyl ether (A) wherein the average no. of C atom in the alkyl moiety is 10 to 20 and the average no. of moles of added ethylene oxide is 5 to 15: 10-40 wt. % water-insoluble inorg. silica compd. (B) (e.g. an amorphous aluminosilicate) contg. at least 5 wt. % component having an oil absorption of at least 80ml/100 g: 20-50wt.% 8C or lower polycarboxylic acid (salt) (C) (e.g., sodium citrate); and 0.01-1wt.% fluorescent brightener of the formula at a C/B wt. ratio of at least 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title film having good releasability, low shrinkage and excellent surface appearance by using a composition prepared by mixing an anion modified polyvinyl alcohol with a specified cationic surfactant and a specific nonionic surfactant in a specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:The film is made from a composition prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. anion modified polyvinyl alcohol of an average degree of polymerization of 500-3000 with 0.01-3.0 pts.wt. in total of a quat. ammonium salt cationic surfactant (A) of formula I (wherein R1 is 8C or higher alkyl or alkenyl; R2 and R3 are each 2C of lower alkyl; R4 is 7C or lower alkyl or alkenyl, phenylalkyl of any desired number of carbon atoms or the like; and X is an arbitrary anion-forming group) and a nonionic surfactant (B) of the formula : R5-O(C2H4O)n-H (wherein R5 is 8C higher alkyl or the like; and n is a positive number of 30 or smaller) in an A to B weight ratio of 9:1-1:9.

CONSTITUTION:The film is made from a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl alcohol and 0.01-3.0 pts.wt. amphoteric surfactant. A desirable example of the polyvinyl alcohol is an anion-modified polyvinyl alcohol of an average degree of polymerization of 500-3000, obtained by saponifying a copolymer essentially consisting of vinyl acetate and a vinyl monomer having an anionic group. A desirable example of the amphoteric surfactant is a carboxylate amphoteric surfactant.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a strip wrapping sheet free from unmelted part of the seal part by adhering with heat-sealing only on lines separated from each other which are provided one or more on both sides of a cut line of a belt-like part. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of detergent containing parts 1 are connected via belt-like parts which are sealed in plane by heat-sealing and they are adhered by heat-sealing only on lines two of which are provided on each side of a score 4 of the belt-like part and are separated from each other. An area of the adhered parts by heat-sealing is 3 to 25% with respect to an area of the belt-like parts. Thus when a lateral packaging machine is used, a strip wrap sheet free from unmelted part of the sealed part can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the degradation of antifoaming effects during storage by combining each specific quantity of silicone antifoaming agent, water-soluble starch, inorganic detergent builder and organic binder having specific melting and softening points to form a granular antifoaming agent. CONSTITUTION:Silicone antifoaming agent (a) is added to powder of water-soluble starch or processed starch, or their derivatives (b) at a weight ratio a/b of 0.1-0.5 30-80wt.% in total of (a+b) to prepare a uniform mixture. Thereafter, said uniform mixture, inorganic detergent builder or clay mineral of 0.5-40wt.% and organic binder of 10-40wt.%, having melting or softening points of 40-160 deg.C are mixed together, while they are being agitated and heated at a temperature equal to melting or softening points or higher of the organic binder. Further, the mixture thus produced is formed into granules by extruding granulation method, tumbling granulation method, etc., to obtain granular antifoaming agent.

CONSTITUTION:A powdery detergent compsn. is obtd. by adding 0.1-5 pts.wt. granular product which is a perfume inclusion powder obtd. by granulating a powdered perfume by means of an inclusion compd. and 0.5-5 pts.wt. polyethylene glycol in combination to a powdery detergent comprising 10-60 pts.wt. anionic surfactant and 30-80 pts.wt. detergent builder. This compsn. is capable of satisfactorily masking odor released from washing despite repeated washing cycles. The nate of the compsn. does not change over a prolonged period of time despite a contact with an alkali component of a detergent. Further, a perfume having high volatility can be used, and it is possible to give a novel nate at the time of washing.
