    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a hair cosmetic capable of imparting luster, smoothness and conditioning effects and manifesting sustained effects by combining two or more kinds of α-hydroxycarboxylic acids with protein derivatives and a highly polymerized dimethyl polysiloxane having a specific polymerization degree. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is prepared by combining (A) two or more α-hydrocarboxylic acids with (B) one or more selected from proteins, protein hydrolyzates and protein derivatives and (C) one or more of high-polymerization degree dimethyl polysiloxane having 800-20,000 average polymerization degree (n). Citric acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid and tartaric acid are preferred as the ingredient A and the formulation amount of the ingredient A is 0.01-5wt.%. A collagen hydrolyzate and a keratin hydrolyzate are preferred as the ingredient B and the formulation amount thereof is 0.0001-5wt.%. A compound represented by the formula, etc., are preferred as the ingredient C and the formulation amount thereof is 0.01-10wt.%.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a persistent hair cosmetic containing the combination of a basic amino acid or its salt, a protein or its derivative, and highly polymerized dimethylpolysiloxane having a specific polymerization degree, and capable of preventing the excessive evaporation of water, when the hair is dried with a hair drier, etc. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic contains the combination of (A) one or more kinds of basic amino acids or their salts, (B) one or more kinds of proteins, proteolysis products and protein derivatives, and (C) one or more kinds of highly polymerized dimethylopolysiloxanes having average polymerization degrees (n) of 800-20000, and has a pH of 3.0-6.5. The component A is preferably lysine or alginic acid. The component B is preferably an animal protein derivative (especially a collagen hydrolysate or a keratin hydrolysate). The component C is preferably the polymer having an average polymerization degree (n) of 1000-5000. The hair cosmetic preferably contains 0.001-5wt.% of the component A, 0.0001-5wt.% of the component B and 0.01-10wt.% of the component C. The hair cosmetic can repair damaged hair and give hood touch.
