    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a use amount of a refrigerant as well as preventing reduction of a system efficiency caused by a lubricating oil, in a vibration type compressor used for a refrigerating cycle and the like. SOLUTION: In the vibration type compressor for compressing and delivering a refrigerant by a compression mechanism part, lubricating oil is not used, combustible and natural refrigerants such as propane, isobutane, and carbon dioxide are used as the refrigerant, a gas bearing mechanism or a connecting mechanism having low bending rigidity are provided, and thereby the system efficiency is improved, the use amount of the refrigerant is reduced, and sliding loss is also reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce suctioning loss of refrigerant in a muffler and improve efficiency in respect to a hermetically closed type compressor adapted to a household refrigerator. SOLUTION: This hermetically closed type compressor is composed of a motor part, a hermetically closed vessel housing a mechanical part such as a cylinder, a muffler 25, and a suction pipe 29. The muffler 25 has a muffler inlet flow passage 26 communicated with a space inside the hermetically closed vessel, and a muffler outlet passage 27 communicated with the cylinder. The suction pipe 29, muffler inlet passage 26, and muffler outlet passage 27 have the equally sized sectional areas or increasing ones in this order. Refrigerant in the muffler 25 is thus suctioned into the side of the cylinder without receiving passage resistance. It is therefore possible to improve suctioning efficiency and compression efficiency.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating type compressor used in a refrigerating system or the like, which can prevent the insufficiency of cooling capacity in a high temperature atmosphere. SOLUTION: As oscillating compressor is composed of a cylinder 22 in which a piston is inserted so as to be axially reciprocatable, and which is inserted in a back 20 so as to be axially reciprocatable and to define a space 23 between itself and the block 20, and a communication passage 24 which is opened between the space 23 and a discharge chamber 7b in a cylinder head 7. With this arrangement, in a condition in which the atmospheric temperature is high so as to require a high cooling capacity, the cylinder 22 is moved toward the top dead center by a high pressure introduced in the space 23 so that the stroke of the piston 5 becomes larger, thereby making it possible to enhance the cooling capacity.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a piston from colliding with a discharge valve, prevent damage to the piston or the discharge valve, and prevent generation of noise even when the working pressure, etc., are changed and the amount of stroke of the piston becomes large, in a vibrating compressor for use in refrigerators, air conditioners, etc. SOLUTION: A piston 8 is fitted in a cylinder 5 so that it can be axially moved, a projected part 13 is provided on the outer peripheral part of the piston 8, and a recessed part 14 to be fitted on the projected part 13 is provided in a cylinder 5. By arranging the projected part 13 and the recessed part 14 so that they fit each other to form a closed space when the amount of stroke of the piston 8 becomes larger, damage to the piston 8 or the discharge valve 9, and generation of noise due to impact can be prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of motor efficiency caused by unevenness of an air gap between a stator and a rotor of a motor in an oscillating type compressor, and improve reliability of the compressor while preventing a partial wrench. SOLUTION: An elastic element has an outer peripheral part retained by a stationary element 14, and an inner peripheral part fixed or connected to a rotatable element 15. The elastic element is so arranged as to obtain maximum radial rigidity, in an arranging direction of a permanent magnet 13c. Due to action of a magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet 13c, it is possible to prevent attraction and inclination of a rotor 13b by the permanent magnet 13c. By keeping an air gap between a stator 13a and the rotor 13b uniform, it is possible to prevent deterioration of motor efficiency and deterioration of reliability caused by partial wrench.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics and efficiency of a linear motor without increasing the size of the motor, by arranging a plurality of permanent magnets around the motor by uniting the magnets by utilizing the recessed and projecting fitting sections of the magnets. SOLUTION: Each of the arcuate permanent magnets 12 constituting the mover 13 of a linear motor has recessed and projecting fitting sections 12a and 12b, and the magnets 12 are united in one cylindrical body by fitting the projecting fitting sections 12b in the recessed fitting sections 12a. Since a perfect cylindrical shape is formed only of the magnets 12 without using any hole, the magnets 12 can be used effectively to the utmost and the number of the magnets 12 required for obtaining necessary motor characteristics and efficiency can be minimized and, accordingly, the size of the motor 13 can be reduced. Therefore, the characteristics and and efficiency of the motor can be improved without increasing the size of the motor.
