    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent cavities and voids from developing at both the end faces of a heat insulating box by delaying the foaming action in the early stage of reaction by a method wherein tertiary amine catalyst and organic acid are mixed in polyol liquid as foam insulating material. CONSTITUTION:Liquid wherein polyol liquid containing silicone foam stabilizer, flon foaming agent, tertiary amine catalyst and organic acid and isocyanate liquid are mixed is poured between an inner box and an outer box and expanded. The salt produced from the organic acid and the tertiary amine catalyst in the polyol liquid prevents the catalytic action from demonstrating at the time when the temperatures of the polyol liquid and of the isocyanate liquid are 20-30 deg.C in the early stage of reaction. The catalytic action is demonstrated by the separation of the organic acid and the tertiary amine catalyst from the salt at the time when the temperatures of the polyol liquid and of the isocyanate liquid reaches at least 50 deg.C due to the generation of heat of reaction. Consequently, the reaction can be intentionally delayed in the early stage of the reaction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the heat exchanger having uniform heat exchanging at low cost by forming a minute crack on the flame coating layer, by expanding the flame coating layer with high pressure after press-fitting the high hardness metallic powder with its overlapping by flame-coating it in a meandering pattern to two sheets of thin metal plates. CONSTITUTION:The metallic powder of high hardness of a hard chromium, etc., is flame-coated 13 in the prescribed meandering pattern 15 on two sheets of thin metal plates 2. The pattern 15 is press-fitted by a roller 7 by overlapping so that the pattern 15 is conformed thereto. A flame coating layer part 15 is expanded 3 by applying high pressure on the flame coating layer part 15 which is not press-fitted by a nozzle 8. Microcracks are caused due to the flame coating layer 15 having very high hardness and it becomes a porous layer 18. The heat exchanging is uniformized with the generation of a crack 18 on a pipe expanding part 3, the process is simplified more compared with the conventional chemical crack forming method and the cost is reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To hold further improved degree of freshness in the stored goods by forming blast passage parts and cooling elements with use of synthetic resin material mixed with ionized ores. CONSTITUTION:Fan 11, duct 12, exhaling grilles 13, 14, inhaling grilles 15, 16 are formed by thermoplastic synthetic resin material, such as vinyl chloride or the like mixed with natural ores containing radioactive elements, such as radium, radon, strontium or the like. Besides, those surfaces are coated with electric charge preventive material. Such a constitution serves for emitting radioactive rays from these materials in order to produce minus ions. Since these minus ions are diffused to all corners of the refrigerator by circulating air current in it, preservation and conservation on the stored goods are able to be favorably improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain good thermal conductivity of expanded insulating material for a long period of time by putting the expanded insulating material to be incorporated into the gap between an outer box and an inner box into a plastic bag. CONSTITUTION:A thermally insulated box such as a refrigerator comprises an outer box 1 made of matal, an inner box 2 made of plastics, and expanded insulating material 3 such as slab-shaped urethane foams incorporated into the gap between the boxes 1, 2. In an insulated box of this sort, the expanded insulating material 3 is put into a bag 4 of plastics having low permeability to gas such as air, moisture etc., which is put into the gap between the boxes 1, 2. As a result, fluorocarbon component etc., in the material 3 is not replaced by air and hence thermal conductivity of the material 3 is not deteriorated even after extended use.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent deformation of a heat insulating door due to cooling by a method wherein a molded product made of foamed styrol in the shape of the tip of the protrusion of an inner plate is temporarily locked to the lower part of the protrusion of the inner plate by means of a tape. CONSTITUTION:In manufacture of a heat insulating door, a molded product 12 of foamed styrol formed in the same shape as that of a tip 9 of a protrusion 7 is temporarily locked to a lower part 11 of the protrusion 7 of an inner plate 3 by means of a tape and the like. When an outer plate 2 is incorporated in a frame material 5 and a foaming heat insulating material 6 is injected in a space formed with the outer plate and the frame material to fix the inner plate 3, the foaming heat insulating material 6 is risen, and the molded product 12 is pushed up to raise the molded prod 12 to the tip 9 of the protrusion 7. As a result, even when no air bleed hole is formed, air reservoir occurs, and even when a heat insulating door 13 is cooled through cooling operation, the tip of the protrusion of the inner plate can be prevented from deformation.
